I haven't bought a real life Bond gadget yet but here are the real life one that I can think of.
pen built in voice recorder
watch with a mini camcorder
radar jammer that you mount it on a car dashboard
mobile phone built in taser (banned in some countries)
It is expensive though...

A couple of year's later I was thrilled when I managed to acquire one. I also had one that was a fake mobile phone. To my disappointment neither gadget worked particularly well. They could only record for about 30 seconds and it was terrible quality. My only other 'gadget' type items have been several types of invisible ink pens and revealers. These are really the only kind of cheap gadgets you can get.
Nice spot.....old man.
So I'm guessing Bond had something similar, Which was a Radio Phone.
Basically a two way radio as a Taxi would use.
The first Propper Mobile phone was made by Motorola In 1973.
Although I do have a Sony/Ericsson k800i from CR, use it everyday. B-)
This reminded me of a highlighter pen I had which had two small "breathing" holes in the middle. This was my TB re-breather Worryingly though, I began to notice that the amount of highlighter in the pen was going down whenever I used my "re-breather". I was never quite sure what the highlighter ink was made out of and was a tad concerned it might be harmful. In retrospect, whatever it was it couldn't have been harmful in such a small quantity and even if it had been, it didn't stop me using it as a re-breather )
