Wanted to post these here before I put them up on eBay. I have decided to part with 3 of My TOM FORD QoS ties, these were purchased back when QoS was out and are next to impossible to find now with the exception of the Kazan tie which can be bought on eBay for $2400!

I am asking $500 each for these ties which includes shipping, all brand new and unworn.

These ties are worth at least 1000$ each, the Kazan being the most special one you could auction it for a lot when the movie is out in November.
If you can't trust a Swiss banker, what's the world come to?

Something is only worth what another person is willing to pay for it. Unless in sentimental value of course.

Right color is black for the Kazan, brown for the scarf.

JB is an international market with hundreds of millions of fans, it's not limited to the 100 active members of this board. So a lot of people are willing to pay a lot of money for the very best items. Here you're more likely to sell the off the radar props, not the big ticket items.

    .

I think you might find there are some big hitters in Bond clothing collecting circles who dispute the colour of the tie.

But the scarf certainly is brown. And the gloves.

No the tie is black, look at the screencaps. I had both and it's clearly black, there are pictures you can see the difference between the tie's dark black and the scarf's obvious brown.

Many remain unconvinced there is any visual evidence confirming it's black.

Nor anything from TF themselves, either.

I don't know anyone who thinks it's not black. Maybe you have doubts because you found a tie that's brown, but it's clearly black. There is one screencap where you really see how brown the scarf is and how black the tie is, not to mention that Tom Ford did mine in their made to measure program when it was open.

There are no "screencaps" which undisputedly prove its black.

Tom Ford London and Milan maintain it's dark brown, your made to measure folk that it's black.

However, I appreciate you are unlikely to accept the tie as anything other than black as it would clearly affect the value and therefore saleability of your own tie on ebay a price in excess of £1,500 where it continues to remain and has done so for many months, despite its apparent desirability to the "hundreds of millions of fans" to which you refer in an earlier post.

Even an authentic tie isn't worth that. It's worth more or less what Simon marketed his at.
