The T&A CR bow tie had a clip to, they are proper bow ties that you can tie, the clip is for convinience so you don't have to keep tieing it
Are you certain about that? That's like a slip-on shoe having fake laces. I haven't seen the CR bow tie in person, but I have a T&A bow tie and it's like a regular bow tie.
I'm actually surprised Tom Ford would even sell a clip-on. But Bond wears a real one. The bow tie in Skyfall is also narrower than the clip-on pictured.

Take Simon as correct.
Even the CR box (shirt and bow) have an adjustable/clip-on or tie- or un-tie option....
These are self tie bow ties with a ckip on the back for adjustment, not the same as a clip on bow tie that you cant tie.
Wow. That's not very nice and I'm really surprised they would make it like that. The one in the film is a regular bow tie, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was made sized for Craig.
Im going to respectfully diasgree with you there, have you seen the screen usedd bow tie?
I cant find it right now but I have seen a set picture (I think in empire magazine or total film) of Bond and vesper in the shower and you can clearly see the ret petersham adjustable band poking out from beneithe the shirt collar.
Just to reiterate you can untie this bow tie and re-tie it all day long as you can with one that does not have an adjustable strap, most of T&A modern bow ties have thias and its described as:
"a stylish red 'Petersham' adjustor; thus ensuring a perfect fit around the neck of the wearer."

You're right about the new Turnbull & Asser bow ties, it looks like they have the clip that allows them to be undone. But I've looked closely at the shower pictures and saw no red. Compared to the website examples the red should have been visible as far up the bow tie as we can see. Let me know if you can find the picture where you saw the red.

No red adjuster.
