I found this model of the Disco Volante from Thunderball on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Thunderball-James-Bond-007-Boat-Wood-Model-Replica-XXL-Planeshowcase-/200583237902?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2eb3b1510e
It looks like the same company also makes the underwater sleds used on the movie as well as boats from some of the other Bond movies such as the Q Boat and the Glastron. I have not purchased anything from them but thought it was neat and decided to pass it along.

I have met people, who purchased these but their models never came near to the ebay pictures in reality.
Thes are obviously hand-made and the makers are not as skilled (and motivated) as the prototype (for ebaypics) guys.

Is there interest in good quality officially licensed 'studio scale' type models of key 'prop' vehicles like this in scale form?
Between 30 and 80cm long, mixed materials such as resin and metal of iconic miniatures. Intended for display.
Some potentials might include
DV
Liparus Tanker
Moonraker
Little Nellie
Dragon Tank
Flying AMC
The potential options are many, but for the moment recognizable 'real world' production cars would be out. (to complicated to explain for now)
We have the rights to produce these and have been looking at this type of product, so would welcome feedback

Hmmm....an 80cm Little Nellie...add the Q-Boat and sign me up now. Please & thank you. Donk.
Bugger!....forgot the Diamonds are Forever Moonbuggy...slurpy!
Based on their appearances compared to the original vehicles? - Would not touch these models with a barge pole!
That Disco V looks like one Largo might have on the side of the bath!
Definitely. I've always wanted a true scale model of the Disco Volante. Liparus Tanker would be cool too. Just about everything listed would be cool. However, I've always wanted a scale model of the Disco Volante. I've even thought about commissioning a true to scale model. If you made it, that would be awesome!

Sounds very interesting, but to appeal to me such items would have to have a clearly defined scale. Ideally, they should also be made to the same, uniform, common scale (1/24, 1/18, 1/72 etc.). A bit difficult to make the Liparus and Little Nellie in the same scale though.
Nice idea. I don't think i'd buy. I'm more of a prop/replica fan.

There are so many props and gadgets to be done and I am sure, that they will find a larger buyer base than models from ships and stuff.
However, I'll be in with an accurate model of the DV and the TB bomb sleds.
Moonbuggy? meh!
Little Nellie? Has been done several times, so does not make sense until a high-end model is being done.
Liparus Tanker? maybe if the front opens and reveals Subs inside
Dragon Tank? Has been done
Flying AMC? I doubt it. Even real one looked kind of crap.
