Moonraker vs. In like Flint

Which of these two silly spy films in which our hero ultimately goes into orbit to do battle in space do you enjoy most, and why?

Personally, I enjoy In Like Flint more, mainly because it intended to be humorous, and it worked on that level, whereas Moonraker wanted it both ways, and IMO failed totally. Not serious enough to be truly engaging, not silly enough to work as satire.
Not until DAD would a Bond movie be such a mess.
Another thing- no wink wink, nudge nudge from James Coburn- he played it (relatively) straight no matter the foolishness surrounding him.

I guess it all come down to which is more offensive: Cramden expecting to be accepted as a lady (shades of DAF to come ) ), or "Here's to us"..... ?:) )

In Like Flint is Austin Powers favourite Movie, so it must be good.
I enjoyed Both Flint films, then again I also like the Matt Helm movies.
Even enjoy Moonraker when I'm in the mood.
Guess I'm easily pleased. )

I haven't seen the FLINT films in years. Bought the Region 1 double-box set a while ago but have yet to watch it. You've spurred me on to give them another viewing. Remember enjoying them, particularly the first one. And like Thunderpussy I enjoy the barminess of MOONRAKER too. I must just enjoy laughing at life. )

I enjoy Moonraker as a fantasy Bond film. I do like In Like Flint but I rarely watch the whole movie. I usually stop around the time Flint reaches the island. I think I like the music and moments of In Like Flint more than the full movie. After all both Flint movies are Bond rip offs to some extent. But Yvonne Craig's quick dance scene is great. So are the opening shots with Jean Hale.
