What about Bond's causal footwear

I was wondering has there been any information regarding Bond's causal foot wear when he wears both the Barbour and the LVC? Following Daniel's normal style as a guide I would imagine it would brown suede chukka style boots. Any thoughts?

Will be interesting to see - thats of course if we see his footwear in the LVC jacket scenes, the on set pics we have seen so far of this I believe he is wearing his personal Nike Sweet High Trainers.

Still no sign of a Polo shirt lol, prob a good thing after last two films

There was an early picture in the LVC getting out of the Range Rover in what looked liked brown chukka's with a lighter colored sole, in the picture it seemed as if DC was not wearing any socks.

It was light colored pants, I personally hope the shoes are Clark's, in keeping with the British theme, or at least another English brand with a pretty rich history, especially with the chukka being a desert boot and all.

Doubt it will be Clarkes mate - not high end enough for DC I'm afraid! Will be C&Js, Church or something similar

I agree and am pretty sure you are correct, but DC has worn Clark's for a photo shoot so hope springs eternal!

I did a Little Research about the work of Costume Designer Jany Temime and I'm a Little Fan of her work on Movies. For Example she chose for the Harry Potter Movies the Brand Clark's for the Footwear. In the First Picture of DC with the LVC where he gets out of the landrover Iam pretty sure he wears the Clarks Desert Boot (Color unknown but I think Brown).
I have a Clarks Desert Boot in Tobacco and the profile looks 1:1

But without any confirmation it's just a optimistic Assumption

Whenever I see a screen 007 wearing footwear with laces, I can't help but recall that Fleming's Bond hated shoelaces.

Honestly, I'm not too fond of them either. Loafers and laceless Chuck Taylors are pretty much all I ever wear.

Nice screen caps. Those almost look like the Taupe colored Clark's. The color could be deceiving. Could be an alternative, if not.

After looking at the Clark's desert boot in taupe, I have to say that if it's not what it is, then it's a close alternative.

Has anyone had any luck making a guess at the pants?

Clarks would be a good guess, but studying the images it would seem although the lines don't match; in my opinion at least. I don't think the soles are chunky enough to be Ryders, but they could be a battered (worn) pair.

My thoughts exactly, makes no sense not to include it, plus CJ chukka's don't have the two rows stitching that Clark's have on the sides of the shoes.

The soles of the shoes seems to develop the proper darkening of a crepe sole.

From that back shot of Craig, you would be forgiven for thinking they're Clarks. Just don't look right from the side as their desert boot is almost entirely sloped diagonally to the toe. Like a Spanish galleon. -{

Quite possibly mate - this might explain why missing from CJ Skyfall announcement!

Although not unlikely (especially since the scene has him wearing a cheap Zara shirt) I do find it hard to imagine DC wearing Clarkes

Remember he's still 'enjoying death' in these scenes. I happen to like the Clarks desert boot, don't own a pair but have considered them as a go to alternative for rough days.

With life imitating art with regards to what DC wears finding its way into the movies, my reason for Clark's being a choice a part from the obvious look of the boot was this picture,

This is something I had not seen before, Church's Sahara III, and it the double stich on the sides, and the color is perfect. Maybe that's why there is no mention if they are.
