Cheap CR Polo and QoS jacket alternatives.

I don't know if it's available everywhere, but my local jcpennys has two good cheap alternatives. I picked up a J R Ferrar polo in navy blue for 10.00 on the clearance rack, similar to the CR Sunspel. I also picked up a clairborne polytech black jacket from clearance for 25.00, similar to the QoS motorcycle jacket. They had plenty at the time, sorry no pictures I'm not tech savy enough.

The jacket is a clairborne polytech 4089379 in black. If you would like to look it up.

I can't seem to find the jacket on their web site.

The polo has 3 buttons instead of 2, but looks ok I guess. As for the jacket dont see it either, a couple of the Red Kap jackets look like possible Y-3 alternates.

I think since it's on clearance that it won't be on the site, so you'll have to hunt it down. With the product number you can google image it to see if it's worth the effort, if your in the States.

Ok I see it that way. The stitching across the chest throws it off IMO.

I'd still go with the Dickies Eisenhower in black, seen here with an AJB member selling it.

Stopped by a JcP while at the mall. Saw the Claiborne jacket, and the one I saw didnt have the stripe across the chest so it was a little better in person. Wasn't as happy with the slick feeling of the material though.

As for the polo I had issues with the material as well. Its spandexy. The 3 button placket is huge and would be hard to wear without buttoning at least one button.

A better option seemed to be the St. Johns Bay jersey pocket polo. Not only is it the t-shirt material with the pocket, it also has the shorter 2 button placket. Only mark against it is the ribbed collar(sleeves aren't ribbed), and not sure how dark their "American Navy" is going to be. My store only had baby blue and orange available. A quick check of the online site shows most colors out of stock, using the find-in-store feature for local store stock yields much better results.
