I so wish i was loaded!!!!

There is loads of stuff for sale that was on show at the Barbican. I know that has ended now but it is moving on to Canada next. What are they going to show, different props, because loads of it they are selling off. Now I know they have a number of the same props (DBS for example - AM gave them about 6 to play with) but I'm a little sus about the authenticity of this swag to be honest. Maybe I'm jealous, because if I had the money, I'd still buy the whole lot - fake or not.

I'm so tempted to sell my kids to raise the funds for the Premier tickets! That for me would be priceless.

Can you sell kids - get all that stuff !! Lol

I'll read the catalog this weekend. I only scanned through it a bit and noticed that they have Daniel Craig's blue swim trunks up for auction. I wanted to see the other black pair as well for the brand. What is surprising is that he wore a large size. Unless they were fitted, I'm now very pleased with my large pair of the trunks.

The catalog is kind of a disappointment. There is a nice picture of Domino and others in it. But I guess I was expecting something similar to the massive Star Trek auctions from a few years back. That was jam packed with so much stuff it needed two catalogs.

There are a lot of great items. But I would only go for the French girl's jewels from Skyfall. Although, maybe the dealer will release them eventually if they weren't already. Also, the Casino Royale chairs.

I did notice that they have Taschen's Bond Archives up for auction. It's most likely the Art Edition as they say more details are coming.

I can't see any details on the Taschen site about how to obtain the art edition, can anyone help with this?

Hopefully Taschen will put up info soon. I've been checking the site almost daily for the Art Editions since they will be rare.

Yes, we'd love any info on the Art Edition. Taschen made some of my favorite books ever, but it looks like only some of the new book's graphics will be new to us as fans, based on the interviews I've seen online.

As for the big auction, the prices do look decent for some things until you add the 25% buyer's premium and for some, 20-25% VAT atop the sale and the premium... oh, and shipping!

That makes a 4,000 pound bid on some items $8,500 or $9,000 U.S. including a fully refunded VAT. Yikes!

Just received my hardcopy catalogue and what a beauty it is too. Better than the last two big auction catalogues and makes the Barbican Exhition book look like a comic. I would urge you to get one of these, best book I've seen for ages.

Is the hard copy any different then the .pdf version? Different graphics?

No, it is exactly the same content wise however it has been presented in a similar fashion to the original Japanese EON Archives book in large format with embossed detailing on the front & back covers. Apart from the depth it is similar in appearance to Omega's own in house publication and IMO is worth every penny/dime of the £30 or $50 fee which like the auction lots themselves also goes to the EON nominated charities.

some seriously cool things up for grabs at this Auction...

The Solex Agitator.. They have 2 of them.. One with 'Engraved' James Bond
Wording and another plain like it was in the film, so they will still have a Solex :007)

Think the SKYFALL DB5 is a pretty neat lot.. 1:3 scale model... be interesting to spot
that when the film comes out.... wonder what shots the models were used for etc

great auction.. looking forward to seeing the results.. think alot of things will fly way
higher than estimated. Look at the Old Walther LP-53 Connery held when it was first
sold fetched a decent price... then when it sold again.... BOOM! :007) Serious Coin

Anyone going to the auction ?

The Agitator is the most valued lot of all. Why, that thing could solve the current world energy crisis!

This is a charity auction guys... This is fantastic news... For the charities...

Just a tgt, but how about a competition ?

Pick say 10 items and everyone gets to guess ALL 10 final prices...

Closest ( using the magnitude of the differences not the average/total) wins...

Im sure someone can come up with some prizes...

    Cheers paul
