Nope - things don't get much better than that - well done, enjoy
Well bugger me sideways with Danjaq_Off's brass butty plug!...Thank you for posting. Simply stunning my friend. Just wait till you see the actual Skyfall DB5 miniature on screen if you can spot it that is?
Will take my big Canon down on Fri then, going to view in the afternoon before the auction that evening. Will try and get a rule in shot as well for the smaller items. :v
"Lot Description
Skyfall
- A post-production 1/3 scale replica miniature model manufactured by Propshop at Pinewood Studios of the Aston Martin DB5 used in Skyfall
Three scale models were commissioned by EON for the production. The film's Art Director Mark Harris supplied the initial 3D model, which Propshop then refined and added to, with 3D scanned parts from the original car. This final model provided a definitive 3D file to print from. Using the latest 3D printing technologies, Propshop broke the 3D model car down into parts, that were then printed individually and put together seamlessly in the workshop by skilled prop-makers. This is the first time these technologies have been employed in film to create scale models to this detail, and unlike traditional methods, 3D printing provides exact copies of those modelled on screen. Several of the 3D printed parts are chrome plated, including the wing mirrors, bumpers, helping to add to the authenticity and high quality finish of each DB5.
This model is one of three further models that were commissioned post-production to replace those damaged during filming. The other two models will be retained by EON Productions for exhibition purposes."
It looks absolutely amazing in the flesh. If I were a rich man...

I don't have the catalogue handy, but I think that's the one from QoS. One of the final lots in the sale if memory serves me correctly (which it probably doesn't).
Oh, yeah, sorry! Absolutely right, Domino. As you'll no doubt be aware, it's one of at least 5 Aston Martin DBSs used in the filming of Quantum Solace, out of which at least 2 were known to have crashed - one delibrately while another was a very serious accident that resulted in the DBS crashing through a wall before plunging into Lake Grada in Italy. Stuntman Fraser Dunn was driving along the tight roads along Lake Grada heading to the filming location in heavy rain when the mishap occured. He managed to swim to safety with minimal injuries. Can't say the same about the car though.
A second DBS was sacrificed for a 15 minute finale chase scene which ended in the DBS crashing into a marble quarry?
Even though it's wearing GB plates, it's left-hand drive, of course, like the Z8.
