Have you got it? Are you planning to wear it or frame it? Think I'd Frame it as the thought of spilling something on it :(

They are so rare. The other one on eBay (smaller size) was sold from the Faulkland Islands

Ps welcome to the forum :)

Wow, it looks absolutely horrible to me. The heavy fabric, the absurd giant pattern that runs in a wrong direction and I can't believe that they have copied the ugly "non-SA" grey lining of the front placket from the Zara shirt. The only detail at this shirt, that Jany has altered for Skyfall and that makes the original Zara shirt non-SA.

Until now, no one has seen the final ajb "Enjoying Death" shirt from Leonard, but I'm quite sure that it will look better than the Magnoli one.

I can't understand, that it's turn out that wrong. It's the same with the skyfall tie. So many pic's and info's on several boards. And that very disapointing result. Maybe he can doa second attempt.

A shame it was done in the material it was done in...too stiff. And not sure why the grey plaquette was kept in....the pockets are also too far down on the chest....

Revisions are being done now. The material is actually very soft, not stiff at all... must be my bad photography. I'll try to show this better in the next series of photos.

I was at the local Zara store and picked up a shirt very similar to the original and from the same company as the original. Only $50 too.

I was in the DC Zara last week, there was a rack of shirts like that, indexed by colour. You could easily imagine all those ED shirts there in a row a couple of years ago...

That shirt just doesn't have the ED shirt vibe imo. It lacks the dual/military-style pockets, it's a more fru-fru/tulip-y design and more vibrant looking color scheme. So whereas the ED shirt has a certain ruggedness and washed-out vibe, a lot of the wannabe shirts just miss the point, even if similar patterns. But the point missed is what the ED shirt is all about - it crosses just over the line from odd/childish/metrosexual-ish to worn/washed-out/exotic/hard man on his off "I don't give a ****" time.

The only two "close enoughs" I've seen that have nailed it were the H&M one, and especially the Paper Denim and Cloth one.

I know it does not capture the ED ruggedness which I wish Zara did but it is a good budget alternative

Very true! I think it's a case of "screen accurate" vs. "prop accurate". The Zara shirt does appear very white on screen, at least at times:

On a train of thought, I impulse purchased a pair of pale blue jeans as the lighting in the beach cabin scene (where he's lying on his back) made his trousers look powder blue, I thought it was a nod to Doctor No :)) These were just the regular chinos under a filter or lighting.

Any update as to the shirts being made for the forum members? Last I heard we were almost there.

A gentle bump for this thread back onto page 1:

Not sure if everyone involved heard, but an e-mail from Hart that the shirts have been received back and he will be boxing them up to go out to everyone shortly!
