    Maybe if we didn't say things like that... 8-)

    Honestly though, I love Zara. In fact I wore a Zara shirt today and got tons of compliments on it. They do present new styles every season which possibly means this might be a lost cause, but it's definitely worth trying and I'd like to thank David and the others responsible for getting this shirt info collected.

    Sometimes Zara comes out with *similar* styles 2 or 3 years in a row though, so here's to hoping we find a good alternative this winter season. -{

    Gentlemen,
    this Thread is just a try to get the attention of some Decision-Makers. I know everybody can share his opinion but it's not about "... kind of surprised that Bond would wear that brand"

    It expresses his actual situation when he walks over the turkish beach with the LVC Jacket and this Shirt. He don't want to tell what brand he wears. It's just an expression of lifestyle he follows... and in my opinion Jany Temime (Costume Designer) did a great Job.

    To be classy/stylish it's not a question about money or expensive brands. You can go to H&M or ZARA or what else and look perfect if you choose your right size, if you know what type of colour is good for you, the correct footwear and what type of clothes you choose for every opportunity. A sensitivity for itself is more important than any brand! -{

    Yep I agree and a lot of Zara stuff is well made etc. most clothes are now made in the far east just look at the USA Olympic team and the issues over some of their stuff being made in china despite coming from a top brand.

    I'd be interested in the shirt if the £ was right, but have noticed of late that their sizings have certainly got smaller in comparison to 2 or so years ago. I'm a pretty well built guy & their XL of today isn't their XL of previous years IMO.

    I called a lot of Zara shop in France , like 40, and most of them told the same thing, 3 weeks ago they had it , this shirt was in France from summer collection.
    I called some shop in Italy and Spain, every country have different clothes, some pieces are available in every country but some not, in Italy they didn't see it. In Spain they told me something different, it's possible to find this shirt. I can go to Spain but I don't speak spanish, in each city there are Zara shop who have the old collection, in Barcelona I called the shop but they didn't have it but it was very difficult to speak with him.
    If someone in the forum speaks spanish, call every shop and I will know where to go.

    Timiblade, thanks for the info on all of those stores! Good luck with finding it if you go to Spain. If you (or anyone) finds a few, I'm sure enough members (including myself) would snatch them up from whoever sourced them.

    Style and cost are definitely not required to go hand in hand, hence a brand like Zara thriving. You can look great at an affordable price, for sure.

    I think most of us can appreciate that here, and enjoy all sides of Bond style, not just the fashion that is brief and ever-changing in the marketplace. Mantis' Bond on a budget pieces are well-liked around here, for example. When the real thing is affordable, even better.

    Had we never known that Zara made the shirt, we'd only assume first that it was either custom or from a high-end brand. He has a look for a specific set of scenes, and the shirt helps make it happen.

    Everybody should know that Zara don’t care about advertising and PR… they have a saying ”if it can’t be sold with no advertising” then it is not right… they probably don’t care **** about us.

    Zara the Spanish H&M – kind of surprised that Bond would were that brand

    That is a great saying! Even my grandfather knew that if something is good, it needs no advertising (and if something needs to be advertised, it is suspicious).

    Having said that, we have the largest Zara store in the southern hemisphere where I live, and due to the season difference the Australian collection is usually a few months after the northern hemisphere. I think I know where I am going this weekend... Hopefully by this time next week I am going to be rich selling stuff to you guys!

    Hello,
    I've been visiting here for a while and gaining lots of expensive ideas 8-) so I've decided to give in and register...
    Having now done so, I'd add my name to the list for one of these shirts too and having had a quick count-up, I think we're up to 55+ now.

    Gents, just as a heads up we may need to create some appropriate "noise" here by having people reach out to Zara in numbers. Still holding out that a spear head approach works but feel free to contact Zara and refer this thread, need, and noise around this initiative.

    Nice video podcast about hosting the Bond parties. I also liked the outfit you wore. We're those Ted baker's chinos you were wearing?
