Is Albert Finney still meant to be in this film? I have heard no mention of his character and seen no pics of him in it yet ? ?:)

Their have been no pictures of Helen McCrory either. They say she is playing "Clair Dowar" someone in Parliament, but I was wondering previously if she might be the next Miss Moneypenny.

Now Helen McCrory had said in an interview when she finished her scenes in Skyfall and was working on another movie project.

Perhaps her role is so small in this movie, that it is only an honorable mention.

With SKYFALL being 2 hours, 25 mins. at this time, they probably have not cut her scenes out.

The only other thing I can think of is by showing a photo of Albert Finney and Helen McCrory in character might reveal a secret.

I can confirm that finney'd lines are just a few, but DO include "do you commit to this program?" followed by an embarrassed look, wink to the camera followed by a jazz hands style exit stage right.

Albert Finney is in the film and his characters name is Kincade. He appears in the official teaser trailer for all of about two frames at 53 seconds. Someone with sharp eyes and good freeze frame technique posted the image below. Yes, that is him standing next to M.

Albert Finney is in the film and his characters name is Kincade. He appears in the official teaser trailer for all of about two frames at 53 seconds. Someone with sharp eyes and good freeze frame technique posted the image below. Yes, that is him standing next to M.

This is just rumour and speculation. Even so, I will hide it under a spoiler tag.

Kincade is the guardian/caretaker of the Bond family estate, Skyfall Lodge. He has a fondness for old fashioned English firearms. He may have been a former agent who worked for or with M.

While I've heard the rumour quoted above - and I believe it is widely accepted - I do do think it seems a little too minor for EON to need to keep secret, though I agree they have been extremely melodramatic with who is who/playing who in this film. And isn't it (apparrently) a very small role just to shove the name "Albert Finney" into?

And if anyone can say for certain that is a photo of Finney with M, then perhaps they could give me the name of their occulist.

Could be one of those "small but pivotal" roles with an actor of Finney's stature giving it some gravitus. I wonder when Brian Cox will find his way into a Bond film......could do a good villain, a politician, a Mathis type, or even "M".

Maybe Kincade is m's husband, but in CR, she wakes up in her Bedroom becasue her phone rings... a man is next to her in the bed, presuming it's her husband (maybe she's been having a few affairs)

Maybe Kincade is m's husband, but in CR, she wakes up in her Bedroom becasue her phone rings... a man is next to her in the bed, presuming it's her husband (maybe she's been having a few affairs)

I remember that. We really don't get a good view of him. He's on his side and we mostly see his back. If M's past has caught up with her, maybe her husband was put into protection and he grew the beard to help protect his identity? This all my theory and most likely not true. It is fun to play around with though.

Just received "Bond on Set" and there are a number of photos of Finney in it. Finney does indeed play Kincade as has been noted elsewhere...but he is sporting a very large white beard. The scenes in which he appears in the book take place at Skyfall...the country estate...and he's also sporting a flat cap, waxed-style jacket etc and appears to be out hunting.

Thank you Domino Effect. I will delete the previous photo again. That book must have many spoilers. I'm surprised many of those photos haven't made it to the websites yet.
