Best and worst moment from each bond film

From each of the 22 official EON bond films, try and name the best moment and the worst moment of each. Try and limit it to 1 moment each, although that may prove difficult....

My memory is a little hazy, so apologies if there are any mistakes, but here is my attempt:

Dr No
Best Moment – Honey Rider coming out of the sea
Worst Moment – The three blind mice song

From Russia With Love
Best Moment – The fight on the train between Bond and red Grant
Worst Moment – Klebb posing as a maid

Goldfinger
Best Moment – The woman’s body painted in gold
Worst Moment – Goldfinger’s death, as it looked rather fake (although to be fair it was made in the 60’s)

Thunderball
Best Moment – Quist’s death
Worst Moment - Vargas’ death

You Only Live Twice
Best Moment – The whole little nellie sequence
Worst Moment – Bond ‘turning Japanese’

On Her Majesty’s Secret Service
Best Moment – The cable car scene where Bond infiltrates Blofeld’s hideout
Worst Moment – “This never happened to the other fella”

Diamonds Are Forever
Best Moment – The oil rig climax
Worst Moment – Blofeld introducing his clone to bond

Live And Let Die
Best Moment – Baron Samedi coming out of the ground
Worst Moment – Kananga inflating

The Man With The Golden Gun
Best Moment – Bond and Scaramanga funhouse showdown
Worst Moment – The slide whistle on the car stunt (Ironically, without the whistle this would have been the best moment!)

The Spy Who Loved Me
Best Moment – The PTS (Best PTS in the series IMO)
Worst Moment – When the road accident destroys that guy’s shop

Moonraker
Best Moment – The centrifugal scene
Worst Moment – Any Jaws love scene

For Your Eyes Only
Best Moment – Bond scaling the cliff
Worst Moment – Close up of Melina’s face with the greek music after her parents were killed (I just couldn’t take it seriously)

Octopussy
Best Moment – Bond disarming the bomb as a clown (I know many people hate this scene, but I love it! :D )
Worst Moment – The tarzan yell

A View To A Kill
Best Moment – The golden gate bridge fight
Worst Moment – California girls music on the PTS

The Living Daylights
Best Moment – Bond fighting Necros on the net hanging from the plane
Worst Moment – The cello chase

Licence To Kill
Best Moment – The road chase
Worst Moment – Felix being all chirpy at the end of the film even though his wife was murdered

Goldeneye
Best Moment – Boris clicking the pen (Loved the anticipation)
Worst Moment – Jack Wade’s introduction

Tomorrow Never Dies
Best Moment – The Dr Kauffman scene
Worst Moment – The ship climax, I just found it boring for some reason

The World Is Not Enough
Best Moment – When Valentine shoots at bond to free him
Worst Moment – “Christmas only comes once a year”

Die Another Day
Best Moment – The fencing fight
Worst Moment – The parasailing scene

Casino Royale
Best Moment – Bond being tortured by Le Chiffre
Worst Moment – Craig coming out of the sea, only because I’m not gay :))

Quantum Of Solace
Best Moment – The opera scene
Worst Moment – Bond interrogating Vesper’s boyfriend.... I thought it could have been done a lot better and was too vague

I have to admit that I struggled to find the worst moments of FRWL and CR.... not much wrong with them really.

    Jarvio, her face on FYEO was meant to fade into title sequence so she was asked to hold it out. It didn't work in the finished movie. Some of mine may be the same but I am going to get my list together. Cool topic.

    Worst Moment - Connery's diving mask changing colours.

    I do like Moneypenny. I was struggling as bit for worst moments from TLD and GE because I list both movies in my favourites.

    The Moneypenny scene in TLD just didn't seem a patch on the previous ones with Lois Maxwell. Caroline Bliss never really did it for me as Moneypenny.

    The scene with Bond and Moneypenny in GE seemed a bit contrived just to make the point this is a new Bond in a new era. Samantha Bond had much better scenes in later movies.

    I have to agree that Caroline Bliss was the weakest moneypenny. The Barry Manilow line almost made my worst moment for TLD...

    And just a small change to my list: I'm changing my worst OP moment to the tarzan yell, which I'd previously completely forgotten about

    I'd forgotten about the Tarzan yell as well. Can only think I was sub-consiously suppressing it on the basis that after all these years I still can't believe they put something so stupid in a Bond movie.
