Too long, with too many buttons IMO. A regular style peacoat would probably be a better option.

Personally, I would have rather have had Bond wear this instead of the peacoat. That's just me. Love the coat he wears in London.

The London Tom Ford overcoat is single breasted and formal. I prefer the casual shorter double breasted style peacoat, especially for action scenes.
