Bond on Bond

After having a tip off from Donk that Bond on Bond was available, I went to my local Waterstones to pick up a copy :D

I just wanted to thank Bondstars (Andy) for getting me involved in the project, and to Gareth for getting me the mention :)

There are many pics in the book from many of AJB's top collectors -{ great collaboration.

Well done Guys -{

Waterstones Exclusive: Roger Moore slipcased edition:

on 4th October Waterstones are to release an exclusive slipcased edition of Sir Roger's book signed by Sir Roger Moore KBE himself @ £35 including UK postage. A percentage of the proceeds go to UNICEF. There will be just 1000 copies.

    http://www.waterstones.com/waterstonesweb/products/sir+roger+moore2c+kbe-/bond+on+bond+-+waterstones+exclusive+signed+and+slipcased/9250854/

On a personal note I would like to thank the editor for including an image I sent them of my Corgi Royal Premiere Gold Plated Lotus Esprit. Okay the image had to be heavily photoshopped as my photo was pooh but a photo acknowledgment would have been nice.

    Donk :(

Have to check my local Waterstone's as I understand there are quite a few of my scans and photos included.

Received my copy of this today.

Haven't had chance to read it yet, but the choice of photos is quite a shocker.

    Never mind, nice shelf filler.

The acknowledgement page reads like a who's who on AJB.
Shame some of photos sent to Gareth weren't used.

It's interesting that they have steered well clear of the real mccoy on the prop front. You'd be amazed (or not?) what was offered to this publication pre-production ;)

it wouldn't surprise me one bit to be honest mate.

all in all the book is a nice read and quite humourous, quite a lot of the info is pretty well known, but like i say, makes a good read.

i'm puzzled why some items were missed out all together, especially when i know how many props were offered, and looked at by the publishers. they literally had a gold mine of rare and unique stuff, but chose to go for the generic stuff. bit of a missed opportunity.

maybe you should write your own book donk? :))
