Eaglemoss site

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum and was just wondering if anyone can give me some feedback about the eaglemoss site www.eaglemoss-shop.com

I'm looking to complete the car collection & DB5 issues by ordering the back issues, I've ordered 1 of each as a tester. There appears to be no log in just putting in all your details every time? Also it says upto 21 days for delivery, does it usually take some time for the issues to come?
I also saw someone had a problem order from them when I did a quick google search but that post was back in 2009, any problems with anyone on here?

Any advice would be great thanks

Adam.

In the past the've been very good at getting replacements out to me (Both JBCC & DB5) but now everyone is building the DB5 and discovering their parts are broken, wrong etc they have slowed right up. Their admin centre is in a completely separate locaction to the dispatching wharehouse and it appears that comms between the two are slowing down or just being overloaded. For example I rang three weeks ago for a new steering wheel, no show yet. I called last week as I have 2 right hand rear quarterlights and no lefthand, judging by the "oh great another one" reply on the phone this appears to be a known common problem. If you want to order the whole lot in a oner then I'd give them a call and forget the website. There are some of the JBCC that are perm out of stock now, so you may have to EBay those.

Thanks gadget meister, so you think it'll be better if I ring them to ensure I get the right issues? Just worried about paying & then nothing comes! Is the number you ring 020 7605 1200 Or 0844 4725 219 ?

So delivery usually takes a few weeks?

    Thanks again, Adam.

Any of the numbers should work wether they be JBCC or DB5, it's the same operators, I use 0871 277 6714. Far better to speak to somebody, as with any online/phone transaction there is always a risk, but they are a big company and you're actually better off ordering in one go than stringing it out over two years, in which time companies can go bust. As it is this collection was started by one company (GE FABBRRI) and then bought out by Eaglemoss. As I said delivery is sometimes slow, depends on their workload.

Judging by the comments left on http://www.facebook.com/007DB5 & http://www.facebook.com/EaglemossCollections about the missing parts, poor quality, miss matching paint work, bad fitting parts, unclear instructions & terrible customer service, its made me think that this is not worth buying the other issues & just selling what I have :(

Well, in their defence, I never missed an issue or parts, jst one instance, as prev mentioned, with the rear quarterlights. All my paint matches. No poor quality, although certain area could been detailed a little better and I had to replace one part due to poor packaging (Steering Wheel assy). All my parts fit, instructions are clear and I've only found one mistake in them so far which was solved with a dose of common sense. Their customer service is fine, always pleasant and always delivered, albeit sometimes slowly. Could the model be better? Without a doubt. Interior colour scheme for one thing and accurate number plates for another, but I have very exacting standards.

Half the people on 007DB5/facebook tend to think the page is where you leave spares requests and complaints and then wonder why they don't get answered

This is just my experience, other customer experiences are available. I have no connection with Eaglemoss/GE Fabbri.
