Some James Bond movies reviewed by a Fan of "Steel Magnolias"

Dr. No (1962)- This was a noisy mean movie that had no real relationship between the hero & the heroine except for that he was nice enough to remove a thorn from her foot. Very 2-dimensional in terms of true character interaction.
From Russia With Love (1963)- The hero slaps the heroine & calls her mental in this angry, lesbian hating movie. The title is misleading.
Goldfinger (1964)- The heroine's name is not very respectful to women, but she and the hero share a nice chemistry together, although other female characters are swept aside like used tissues.
Thunderball (1965)- There is no palpable love demonstrated in this nasty movie where the Hero puts a woman in the path of a gun's bullet. Shame on the film makers for a waste of two hours.
You Only Live Twice (1967)- This movie is in a relationship vacuum. Women are killed & replaced without care, it seems. Very off-putting. A very uncaring hero.
On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969)- For this outing they replaced that very harsh fellow with a rather more dashing man. And he's in love... well, after twisting her arm & slapping her a bit! But it's love... and the ending is so...so... well you just must to see it! *sob*
Diamonds Are Forever (1971)- That harsh fellow is back, choking and slapping and lying to women again. The heroine is very trashy. A woman is thrown out of a high rise window & drowned... unpleasant in the extreme. I can review no more of this misogynist filth.
Dalton & Connery rule. Brozz was cool.

Women don't seem to get that the James Bond universe is kind of the sacred cow, to a lot of men just like Edward Cullen and Bella Swan are the sacred cows to a lot of teenage girls and women in general.

I thought they where good reviews of the films, the only thing
missing from them though. Was any thoughts on any of
the pretty shoes the girls were wearing. :D
