Enjoying Death Shirt: Accurizing

I have no idea if accurizing is a word...ah well. I received the H&M budget Enjoying Death shirt from a friend and was immediately surprised by how beige it was but happy that the pattern looked pretty good.

I decided to give a go at dying it to give it that light blue look so I purchased Rit Dye. The color I bought was a royal blue and I diluted it in a cup of warm water. The instructions are very easy and I used a bucket to dye the shirt.

The trick was to keep mixing as it sat in the dye and I kept it in for a VERY short time. It says on the packet 10-30 minutes but just for a tinge of blue I kept it in for less than five minutes. Then I washed it out with warm then cold water. Threw it in the washer, then dryer...and viola!
