When I found the Motorola earpiece, all we had to go on was a pic of DC running through landan tarn, and the pic wasn't that great.

I'm not sure if more recent pics have either eliminated this Motorola earpiece from enquiries, or if they've strengthen the case for it.

What's your views? Close or no cigar?

Not so certain this is "the one". There is an extreme closeup in the Bond on Set book and there are a few subtle differences. When I get a chance I will post a pic so you can all help with the hunt!

Look like there's possibly some small blue lettering on the bud. Been searching for a while, no dead-on matches yet though:

I agree that there is some lettering there...I thought perhaps it was white lettering that had been filled in by props to obscure it.

I didn't even see the clear (ish) ear holder.I wonder if that's an add on or comes with the ear piece

Totally agree, I've always said making something is easy compared to getting the right info together.

Anyone able to sharpen this image up then? Photoshop is a-calling methinks!

I have also been searching for this one for a while now, haven't been able to find anything close yet. A photoshop enhancement of the picture above doesn't reveal anything more than can already be seen. These are the words I've searched on:

transparent ear hook earpiece radio
security headset transparent ear hook
tactical single Earbud with mic
earphone with light for walkie talkie and two way radio
spiral cable earbuds walkie talkie
walkie talkie
earplugs
earphone

Lots of results but not close to the one seen in the film. The earpiece does have quite a specific shape so should be possible to ID this one!

This earpiece is very close! If the earpiece itself and cord was black, I would say these are the ones.

We ar egtting closer! I had found this one

it has same style earhook although not clear and no coiled wire! There is defineltey a very distinct blue marking on teh earbud of the one bond is wearing which will help nail the right one.

picture loks small but i can see that the earhook isn't clear and the cable doesn't appear to be coiled ?
