Young Sean Connery in Skyfall? Or Casino Royale or Quantum of Solace? That's an intriguing notion and I think he would have done a fine job. But unfortunately we'll never know.........................

I know if a very young George Lazenby had done Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace and Skyfall; you guys would be complaining about how bland he is.

To be honest i could see Skyfall more of a Dalton movie.

On a related note, supposedly this was the originaly planned film line up for the Bond Actors according to EON's mutiple deals :

I honestly can't see Casino Royale being improved by a young Connery. I just can't see him replacing Craig in, say, the torture scene, or in the parkour chase. I'd imagine you'd have to alter the movie to suit Connery's 'style'. Craig has a certain intensity that he brings to the role.

Like GordoLeiter, I could see Dalton in 'Skyfall,' even at his current age.

I couldn't imagine Connery in any of Craig's Bond films, nor would I want to. Craig brings a humanity and vulnerability to 007 that was sorely lacking in the Connery movies.

Honestly, if the tech exists in 2087, I wouldn't mind another Sean Connery Bond film. I think young Connery is great to watch on film.

But Connery is playing Bond in SKYFALL. He's just doing it in the guise of Daniel Craig.

They exude exactly the same self-confident alpha-male vibe that makes their interpretations so compulsively watchable.

I think it speaks to Sean Connery's talent to think that Skyfall with him could possibly be better...
...despite his superman portrayal of Bond.

...it's true that Craig brings so much to the role (vulnerability, etc.) and he is quite entertainning as Bond (when done right), but seeing Connery on the big screen again, invincible superman portrayal and all, would be a heck of an experience...

Rubbish. Craig was excellent in QOS and the film itself is flawed but is far better then a lot of Moore's and Bronson's films. The Hate for QOS boggles the mind. Simply cause it doesn't feel like a Bond film is the reason i feel it gets all this hate.

Anyway Connery as much as i love him is half the actor Craig is and simply couldn't pull of the scenes Bond is in doubt. Craig is the best actor to play Bond.

But it's nice to know than even His "Bromance " Fans admitt QOS is Flawed.
As does Craig Himself he has said so in several interviews.
Although if you loved QOS you must then Hate Skyfall, Bringing back all the
Camp Humor, Gadgets and Old characters. :007)

) I have to fly the flag Thunderpussy. I just love the version of Bond he plays after Bronson and Moore, it needed a kick in he ass.
It be stupid to call it a masterpiece even i was a tad bit disappointed with the film when i saw it in the cinema But its good Bond film and the darkest cause Bond is so dark. Ah Skyfall has a mean streak running through it but i don't mind camp, old characters and gadgets as long as its not getting into Moore and Bronon terroity )

I'm not the Biggest Craig fan But have to admitt they did take
on board many of my complaints and seem to of fixed them with
Skyfall.
Just enough humor to help the action but keeping Most of Craig's
One liners as Cold or Cruel. -{
So ,I for one am a lot happier after Skyfall than QOS ( Although I know
many Love it ). )
I have already posted I'm glad Connery didn't appear in Skyfall, It's D Craig's
Movie and I think it would of been a Bit of an Insult to him to have Sir Sean
suddenly Pop up in the last act.
