I'm in the US, and when I login and search for this scarf, there are no results. Looks like it's either sold out or not available anymore. Link doesn't work either.
The more I look at it, I think the scarf is an olive color and not brown, either way it does not have a wrinkled texture, more of a flat linen texture instead.
As per the suggestion on the other Lodge Jacket thread I just got a €25 Zara scarf, which I think fits very well with the jacket (it's in between brown and green), but not sure if it fits the movie scarf. I got article number 5811/303/801.

The Barbour jackets have a snug fit, but I don't find it nearly as snug as some are suggesting. However, all the clothes that I buy are already "slim fit" and I find that for a lot of guys out there they are used to buying clothes in sizes that I would consider too big for them.
For some perspective I'm 5'8-3/4" and 162 lbs. I have a 42" chest and 46-1/2" shoulders (measuring around the widest part of my shoulders) and a 32" waist. I have a size small in the Barbour and it's snug but not too tight, even with a sweater. It's a little more snug than what I would normally wear but the size medium was far too big for me, and I'm told the material will stretch out.
For a bit of context even though I have a 42" chest I always buy a 38" suit jacket, and to fit me properly it has to be a "slim fit" variety - but skinny fit is too tight (and my pants are usually 30", but depending on the manufacturer I sometimes have to go down to 28"!).
I would say that if someone is taller that could change the way the Barbour fits. The medium was a bit loose on the shoulders for me, and it pulled away too much from the body (especially around the stomach, rendering it less warm). But the sleeves were far too long, and the body seemed too long to me as well.
I hope this helps; I posted in another thread last night that sizing is incredibly difficult to get right. Even with stores or labels that I buy regularly there can be a big swing between how the same size fits. Probably the best way of determining what size Barbour to get is to see if any of the people here who own one are a similar height, weight, and build to you. Just remember that build is incredibly important, two guys can both be 162 pounds and have dramatically different measurements.

if you watch David's podcast regarding the skyfall jackets he notes that DC's Barbour is worn very tight !
"some men are coming to kill us, we're going to kill them first"
I'm a 38R and almost every jacket I have is a small. However, my Barbour is a Medium and fits me perfectly. You have to remember that this jacket was designed by a Japanese designer and things in Japan do tend to be cut smaller than in Europe and certainly smaller than North America. I have a Paul Smith jacket which is also from their Japanese line and it is also much more snug than a regular Paul Smith jacket in the same size.
Some thoughts on the scarf, this scarf is a true brown I bought from Zara, but it was too long and wide, so I had it tailored down, two things I realized is that I think that scarf is more olive on screen, second it is a small scarf, not like the really long wraps.

Stefan,
How have you tied the scarf? A simple wrap around the neck tied off with a single knot or otherwise?
Yeah I wrapped the scarf, with the scarf wrapped around the base of the neck from the front, pull it behind you, and back to the front, and add a single knot in the front. I believe this is how DC does it with his scarf. But the length and thickness is crucial to get a nice compact wrap, most of the scarves are too wide making it look like you are wearing a neck pillow around your neck. I have a thing for knots, especially tie knots. There are so many ways to tie a tie, but most of us resort to the safe, tried and true examples. Here are some of the knots I wear.
so is it a sweater he's wearing under the jacket or a t-shirt?
Bond wears a prop sweater, in that it is a t shirt over a thermal but the front of the t shirt is made to look like a sweater. The scarf hides this odd combo well. I have yet to see the movie as I am in the States, but I am willing to bet that Bond never takes off the coat, so you never see this combo.
I found a "close enough" Barbour jacket today at TJMaxx. It's by Polo, lighter In color, but very close, and only $150. I like the lighter color to help contrast the cords and scarf.

Took a blue also. A wine colour would indeed be a nice earth colour contrast. Good choice wardrobe dept.
