I finally got around to putting all of my pieces together for the Lodge outfit (minus my Islays which are still in the box) and took some pictures. I haven't decided whether or not to remove the extra buttons, zipper, and storm flap. So here's how it currently sits -
If you're actually going to use the jacket in inclement weather (likely not an issue in LA!) I highly recommend leaving the chest flap on. I tuck mine under my arm most days, but when it's particularly cold or there's driving rain, I properly 'deploy' it and it really helps cut the wind and keeps me warm.

I found a "close enough" Barbour jacket today at TJMaxx. It's by Polo, lighter In color, but very close, and only $150. I like the lighter color to help contrast the cords and scarf.
Is it possible, that the pants are a dark green, this would explain why they look brown underwater and in certain lighting but darker like a pair of jeans in other lighting. This would also explain that blueish tint in some pictures of the pants.

Over again a picture of the All Saints bitter choc corduane iggy jeans. Looks to me very close. I don’t believe that they have dyed an other pair of pants.

Any chance of getting a picture posted of this jacket???
As it gets colder and colder, I love the storm flap more and more. I tuck it under my arm when inside and 'deploy' it when outside. I highly highly recommend keeping it for anyone contemplating having it removed...and yes, that photo does seem to prove that he still had the storm flap in that particular jacket at least.

and pics of me wearing it. The lighting is very deceiving - the scarf is much browner looking in reality.

I had thought we confirmed the flap was removed? Also, any ideas on what belt he is wearing?
