Had a change of heart and decided to give Carte Blanche a go. It has been sitting on my bookshelf, unfinished, for the last six months or so, and having just seen Skyfall for the second time, I am now in the mood for a contemporary Bond adventure.
Though I have funny feeling I will soon remember why I never got to the end the first time around...

I didn't think a lot to Carte Blanche when I read it last year and I did give it away to a friend. But after reading Amis and now starting on Gardner's work, I asked for my copy of Deaver's book back and will probably re-read it in a year or two. I've also just re-bought Devil May Care as I want to read that again. Thinking back, Carte Blanche wasn't that bad...it just wasn't that good either. 8-)
"Thank you very much. I was just out walking my RAT and seem to have lost my way... "
Currently reading On Her Majesty's Secret Service by Ian Fleming. Thus far, it's certainly one of the best in the whole series (my personal favorite is From Russia With Love).
"The secret agent. The man who was only a silhouette..." -- Ian Fleming, Moonraker
1) The Spy Who Loved Me 2) On Her Majesty's Secret Service 3) GoldenEye 4) Casino Royale 5) Goldfinger
Currently making my way through the Young Bond Series.
I've read all the Higson's before, and the first Cole Novel.
Just finished Hurricane Gold. It's cracking stuff, very well written,would highly reccommend it

It's a good time to catch up on all things Bond! -{
How are you finding it?

It's a fun listen - we had just finished listening to Moonraker, so it's a little slower but good!

I’m reading Diamonds as well right now. It’s a bit of a slow burn than some of the others, but it’s still hard to put it down.
