3 MI6 Agents Killed In LALD

3 agents were killed at the beginning of LALD, setting up Bond on his mission to determine if they are related. Are the 3 agents actually 00s or some sort of lower level investigators? The one bitten by the snake on San Monique seems a little too old to be a 00.

Just my Opinion, But I always thought there were Only local agents getting some Info and
keeping an eye on People MI6 were interested in.
I'd think a 00 would put up a better fight.

Seems a little ironic that this is a Moore Bond movie, albeit in his younger days!

I think they were lower level agents, although Baines is someone that Bond "Rather liked". So they must have been high enough for Bond to know them (or at least one of them).

Remember the other "00" aren't as good as Bond. In AVTAK and OP 003 and 009 both die at the start of the film, with 006 going rogue

I always thought they are agents like Strangways, Kerim, etc. not 00's.

I agree with Peppermill. Standard field agents on a survaillance operation. Can't see them being 00s.

Dawes is to fat.
Hamilton dresses and speaks like an American (maybe he's actually IMF)
Baines to old.
