I'm assuming you are referring to Mr Connery's shoulder holster? if so, these were not commercially available, were custom made for the productions up until The Living Daylights. Their design in suede/soft leather allowed them to be worn inside a tux without the give away bulge of the harder leather commercially available rigs. I believe there is/was a talented AJBer who has replicated the design.

I think the reason for no bulge is that it probably wasn't there when it wasn't needed for the shot.

The holsters often seen on screen were not 100% of the time the ones which Bond's sidearm was drawn from. Lightweight holsters were utilised with latex, rubber , bakelite or resin pistols. Watch the films again, note the amount of times you see Bond's holster after he removes his jacket then look for a bulge before the reveal. You won't find one as the holsters were cut much as his immaculately tailored jackets were, custom cut to the actor in question. Watch Brosnan drawing his PPK in TND & you will see him physically grab the holster as he draws his pistol because what he is using unseen is not a Galco Executive. There are many more similar examples to this but you have to know weapons and in particular how they are drawn.
