Try searching "Solace jacket" on eBay and one of his listings should pop up.

BTW I see the DSW Red Tape Cowboy Wingtip boots are out of stock. I was going to order them but with working part-time and my wife's hours getting cut to 25 hours, I put it off. UGH! X-(

DSW is just Dallas Shoe Warehouse so you may be able to source them elsewhere on the web. They are true to size. If youve had clarks, go with that size. Sorry to hear about the work situation though!

I have a replica of the lvc menlo leather jacket. Im a chest size 41 and it fits me snugly when zipped up. Cost me £110. Will sell it to a member here for £70 with free p&p in uk. If it doesnt sell ill stick it on ebay.

Which company's replica? Boutique England? Or a different one? also, do you have pics?

    TIA

Boutique england. Will post pics tonight as the jacket looks better than their pics on ebay..they make it look shiny for some reason

Great, and which size did you get? The "Small" or the "Medium"? I guess they just list it by chest size on their ebay page but I've learned that what manufacturers *say* fit s a certain size is not always true...

Updated image of the Jcrew 484's to show comparison to the bitter choc all saints cords. They may not look it from the pic, but the pants are the same slimness. The colour looks a little different in this pic, but when I compare my dark slates, to the Iggy Rebelot in Bitter, they are a match.

Ive been talking to Dan, evolve007 on ebay. Class act by the way. He's dropping the quantum harrington and focusing on the BR peacoat alternative as well as the Barbour.

He has an ETA of 4 weeks for the Barbour and is getting ready to start on the BR, no ETA on that one. He more than likely will charge 20 dlls for shipping, but could change. Still 20 dlls AUS for shipping worldwide, great value IMO.

Nice side by side photo... would be curious to see the cords from Kohls next to those as well :

I suspect that it would be too big for me - I have a 42" chest but find that I have to size down for a lot of clothes (I wear a size 38R suit jacket and have a Barbour in Small). How tall are you and how much do you weigh? You say that it fits snug on your 41" chest, could you post pics of you wearing it both unzipped and zipped up? That would give us a better idea of how it fits, especially once we know your other measurements.

Hope this works.... Never posted an image before. Finally think I've found a decent budget alternative for the n peal. At first I was working from the image on their web site which shows it as being more turquoise than blue. I found 2 that were a good match. One of the gents on here then posted an image of the genuine article and it is a lot more blue. I found it in tesco of all placed. Acrylic but only £8. The cords are very slim fitting from debenhs.... Red herring one of there own brands. The Henley is abercrombie. They have the high collar that many report the Burnett has. Just waiting on my barbour from kafka.... By the way sweater is a medium and the cords 34/34. I'm 6/2.5 15 stone 44 chest 34 waist.

Anyone identified the correct track pant yet? These are Ron hills which as they are 100% polyester are a good match for the pt jacket. The jacket is a med and is just long enough in the sleeves. The Ron hills are xl.... For the length.. They are for 38 waist! I love the sis logo but went for my old regt badge as I wear this kit for PT. Even if I could find the gazelles I don't think I'll bother as they aren't too practical in the gym IMO and useless to run in.
You can just make out my old army ear defenders which I think are SA. They will soon be winging their way to join DZ's impressive collection.

If anyone is interested burtons are selling a dark blue slim fit dinner suit with shawl collar. The collar is slimmer than the correct one. The jacket as you can see despite being slim fit is shapeless but I know a lady that will bring it in in the middle for £20. The suit was £60 in the sale! I just need to stitch in the buttons on the trousers so I can attach the AT braces which is one piece of genuine kit I can't recommend highly enough!

As an aside I want to get magnioli to make me a CR copy of the armani jacket. I was sure that the jacket was dark brown but having recently seen the film again it appears black. Can anyone clarify? Am I right in believing it is goatskin? Has anyone ordered one of these from magnioli? Apologies if these questions are in the wrong place.

    Newbie here...

I've been trying to find the midnight blue tux for a while... Burton's website shows the jacket as out of stock on the website :( Just wondering where you managed to pick one up from?

As for the other budget stuff, I managed to pick up a black pea coat from Primark for £32... Nice 'n' warm in this weather!

The correct track pant is an Adidas slim fit track pant in Indigo which is part of a previous season's collection. Newer, slightly different version is on sale (in North America anyway) for 30% off plus another 20% off that. Although they don't look quite as nice as the originals (no zippers on pockets or ankles, non-reinforced knees, and the logo branding is different) they're much more practical IMHO as they aren't lined - the new ones are very warm, the originals would be far too warm for me to wear when exercising. Here's the newer version:

    http://www.adidas.ca/Men%27s-Fitted-Trackpants/X51743_400,en_CA,pd.html

There's an even NEWER version that has zip pockets but I haven't seen them in the real world or tried them on.

Agreed about the Gazelles; I tried them on and they're much more of a casual/skateboarding shoe like Vans or Airwalk. I like gym shoes with minimal support (such as Nike Free or even old-school Converse) But the heavy, inflexible sole of the Gazelles mean they look cool but are useless for a leg workout. I could wear them for an upper body workout but that's it...

I have the Magnoli CR leather jacket. It is a nice dark brown colour. I agree that on screen it looks to be even darker, indeed, almost black. I would say that the Magnoli Jacket is excellent. Nice leather and very well made. You'll love it. It's really good value for money. Just be sure to get your measurements right.

    Welcome Newbie!

River Island had a blue tux for just for stupidly low price just after xmas. Go back through the topic and find my post. My fiancee said she didn't like the blue colour so wouldn't let me buy it. Good job I didn't as I needed all my cash to buy an FE Golden Gun instead!
