Yes the H&M peacoat is amazing.
I'm having the leather pieces fitted to mine on the inner pocket flaps and back of the collar.
Down to £25 now? Absolute bargain!
Make sure you chop off half the collar length first.
It feels great, looks very good, and while it isn't Billy Reid, it's a great budget alternative. In fact, it's even cheaper. It sells for $99, but I got mine today for $50 because of a holiday deal. I'm not sure if that's only for California, but if you can find that deal, go for it. Great peacoat, and a great Skyfall budget alternative.
"You're both, what's the expression? Damaged goods."
If you're not going to go with the BR and just want a classic peacoat, I've gotten years of use out of actual Navy issue peacoats, which you can get in the states at Army/Navy stores or Burlington Coat Factory. They last forever. I had one from the Gap once and it was coming apart after a month.
I know someone else mentioned this somewhere on the forum, but the "Show and Teal" crewneck sweater from Old Navy is a great alternative to Craig's Skyfall lodge jumper; I just got mine and it looks and feels great:
Going to kohls Tmw to check out their peacoat version that mirrors the billy Reid peacoat. I know the hoodie is detachable so hopefully it looks the part. That or I can just have the remainder of the hoodie garment tailored out... Will post pics if I buy it
Looks like H&M has a great alternative for the Shanghai outfit trousers. That being said, you can probably piece that entire outfit together in their store as they probably have a great white shirt, black tie, v neck sweater and pea coat. Please post picks if anyone pieces together the entire H&M shanghai outfit. Should look amazing!
Ok I have a question about Bond's handkerchief, is it white or a light blue when he wears the grey glen check suit? And the way he folds it looks different from the standard way to fold a pocket square. Does anyone have any insight on this?

Ralph Lauren also has some aviators that look pretty close to the Tom Ford ones in Skyfall, but they're only $15 less than the Ray-Bans. I've had Ray-Ban's before, and still have them, but I outgrew them. They will last a lifetime if you take care of them and the lenses are spectacular. Here are the RL aviators though: http://www.ralphlauren.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3087829&cp=1760781.2877673&ab=ln_men_cs2_sunglasses&parentPage=family
I've never personally owned a pair of RL sunglasses nor tried them on in the sunlight, but I've tried them on in stores before and they do fit quite nice. They also seem high quality but not nearly as well made as Ray-Bans in my opinion.
A member mentioned going to kohls and checking out the peacoat there... while you are in the store look at their sweaters.. unfortunately the one I found is only in a v neck, but it is an excellent color match for the lodge sweater.. in hand the color looks exactly like the NPeal website photo of the actual sweater.... on the kohl's site their color looks more vibrant as it appears in screen shots of the movie sweater.. regardless.. good "close enough" for about 20 bucks..
Is the barbour jacket still avaliable anywhere in the uk? If not, is there a decent alternative - preferably even in the Barbour range that is close as possible?
Unfortunately living here in FL we don't have some of the colder weather clothing in the stores yet at Target, Old Navy, JCPenney's, etc. I wish we had somewhat of a winter to enjoy wearing my jackets; used to live in NY. Granted there are some days, just not enough.

Excellent. What scene is this one in again? Looks great.
I think it's from the first suit Bond wears when he's "back from the dead". This one here: http://therakeonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/Tom-Ford-for-James-Bond-Skyfall-2b.jpg

Maybe the square slipped out of place, so it looks slightly different?
