Looking at some of the watches in my collection and I realized the bulk of them have been dive watches and I owe it all to Mr Bond, need to get a bit of variety from here on out! Sorry for crappy pictures but enjoy!
Yes, they are the real deal! No fakes here!
From the left, the new rolex explorer 1 (39mm), rolex non date, rolex sub ceramic, rolex deep sea, omega seamaster 300m professional quartz, omega seamaster 300m professional automatic, omega planet ocean on rubber strap, omega seamaster 300m professional co-xial, omega planet ocean (42mm) , omega aqua terra 8500, mk II Kingston on Corvus strap and custom buckle.
So has your AT got skyfall packaging etc like the planet ocean
No, my AT has the standard goodies IE boxes and manuals and warranty, no mention of SKYFALL. I do not own a single collector's edition of a Bond watch, as I find them very tacky, plus the quantities of the so called limited editions are way too large. Plus, Bond does not wear a special edition with his status printed on the dial!
I like it alot, it is a very subtle, I hardly feel the weight on my wrist. It fits in well with the sleek tapered look which Bond's wardrobe has headed in Skyfall. The watch wears big, I have a 7 3.4" wrist and I have Panerai's which are big and chunky and AT can hold it's own in terms of wrist presence, it hard to tell the difference between the AT and a 42mm PO, next to each other, or for that matter the Rolex explorer 1. The blue dial is striking, being pretty dressy and so unlike the Brosan Era Seamaster, the AT does not have the duality of going with everything that one wears but that could just be me. Though the bracelet has screw heads, it is not a true screw, more along the lines of the Breitling screw head and pin system, which is a real pain to size, and one has to be very careful so as not to lose a screw head or scratch the link of the watch. I did it myself, but I had to tape off the watch first. Accuracy is within the expected realm.
