The head office of RD is in my home town of Stoke-on-Trent. My mother's husband works for them and says the completely under estimated how popular they would be. That's an understatement.
I ordered mine weeks ago and it arrived a day before I saw the film.
My brother has now ordered one on back order and it won't arrive till Feb and it won't be in Skyfall packaging or have the back stamp.
If anyone has missed out and wants to get Jack now with current packaging/stamps, there is still one Australian store that has a few left at $110 AUD. They ship overseas and its well packed. Roundabout antiques.

qbvi......Thanks for the link---just ordered mine. The shipping really jacks up the price to the US, but at this point, oh the things we do for Bond.....
Could not resist, my DOULTON, watching as I type this.
holy s*it, Im about to cry looking at your Spaniel. Reminds me of mine, she died of cancer. Best 14 years of my life with her beside me
So sorry to hear that, I am not sure what the wife and I will do when that dark day comes for us. All we can do is give them the best life on this earth as I am sure you did, his name is Indiana by the way, if we ever have a son, the wife and I decided we could apply the line from the Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, ..." You were named after the dog? "
Yes, I wish they made them in the UK, and not in Thailand like all the world's souvenirs!
I have to agree with this - UK would be best.
However, I am from Thailand and I am glad these are made from Thailand and not some other countires.
After all Thailand got good reputation of making fine commodities - Nikon products are made there so are all the Swarovski jewelry pieces
Sorry did not mean to offend ya, my grand mother is Thai, my comment was regarding the marketing of items that are seen as British, Austrian, etc only to find they are made else where. Not a huge deal, but it's like buying a Singha beer only to find out its made in Milwaukee. Little things for sure, but it bugs me, just as much as Bond is English and does not use a good British tailor. Just my take.

I understand. As stated earlier, I definitely preferred this to be made in England - that would have been first class.
But if it is no, I am very happy that it is Thailand - and not _______ :v
You raised another good point - I am in the USA - but I love Kirin beer from Japan, which is what I would drink while in Asia.
However, all Japanese beer sold here in the USA are brewed in Canada by Budw. So you only buy the label and not the taste - very upsetting X-(
Also no disrespect for Canada - but I missed my Kirin or Sapporo

Well, I hope $70 U.S. is a good price! Call Shawn at Seaway China direct at 754-201-4161 and tell him please that Matt Sherman sent you... they are awaiting Royal Doulton order fulfillment in March as they sold out at $70, and will take details but not run your credit card until their new consignment is in, at which time they will both e-mail you and call you.

Their bulldog is at http://www.seawaychina.com/British-Bulldog-Jack-DD007-Royal-Doulton-Dog.aspx and I hope it meets with your approval. Please consider this a small token of my gratitude to the AJB gang for all their marvelous assistance and good times.
I'm curious as to your take on the Seaway edition...
EDIT : You can still get it earlier (February) through their own website, why go through another importer who will sell it later anyway?
