Just got an e-mail through to say that it's available for us UK folks to order again too! Just limited to 2 per customer, and there's more due in February. I've already ordered mine.
European Community I presume texas007! Though don't know for sure, basically just the same way you folks across the pond have your 'own' Royal Doulton site, we have also. Bit like with all the clothing sites. As for Jack himself, I wouldn't minded one of the antique ones, as it the one saw in the film, but like the fact that this one is a bit cheaper and Skyfall packaging and markings are pretty cool. Make a nice display piece like the Augusta Westland chopper.
I bet there's a fair few ebayers who are a bit miffed at shelling out £200 for an 'extremely rare' 'sold out' restocked item )
Must say, I'm a bit annoyed that the packaging is the same, as I thought i'd got something fairly rare and collectable. Ah well, at least I've got one I guess.
Yes, I thought they might not have the same packaging which is why I was kicking myself when I didn't buy it when it was originally on sale. So as you can imagine, I'm happy it's the same. I don't mind that it isn't collectable, though I'm sure maybe once this restock is done in February, and they sell out, will that maybe be it? Even if it isn't, they will have to drop the SF packaging after a certain amount of time.
I just ordered mine, was just wondering why someone here on "our" very own board said back then when these sold out, that the re-issue won't have SF sleeve etc. :v Why spread false information
EDIT: Btw, delivery costs from European site is ridiculous...

Hope the new stock will still carry the skyfall packaging ,kicking myself as I was going to buy a load first time round in the hope of making a killing

It's Bond, therefore I do believe how quickly it is sold out. And My word is my bond, they probably had a limit of 2 per person this time round to prevent someone doing just that.
Where are you Teppo, and how much are they charging? Just 4.95 in the UK.
Hi Scotty, I live in Finland and shipping from WWRD UK is €50eur, which in my eyes is pretty much BUT i've already completed my order. Before these sold out, there was one eBay seller who sold Jacks for 45quid + approx. 10quid for shipping to Europe,
at the time I wasn't prepared that they would sell out so quickly as they did and I'm sure that many of us noticed it here too. Having that said I know Royal Mail ain't cheap and it works both ways as neither is our postal service.
Anyway I ordered two to justify the fact that shipping cost is almost price of one Jack, so I thought - "Buy 2, get the other with free shipping" LMAO )

I said above, I'm not surprised as it's Bond. The UK website is already sold out. My e-mail said there would be another restock in February, so guess people thought it had come early (as I had only heard about the restock due in Feb), but if you didn't get one this time, hopefully people will get one next month.
Will have to be fingers on the Trigger come Febuary gentleman,I like the look off the other two bull dogs as well but that will take some justifying to the Mrs

Errrr excuse me Teppo before you jump down my bloody neck that was the information I was given! I'm based in Stoke-on-Trent where Royal Doulton head office is based. My mothers husband works at RD and that was the information I was given direct from source! Maybe the demand for the 007 packaging was so high? Who knows?! I have nothing to gain by saying the re-issue won't have the SF box. I already have one!
My brother ordered one in November direct from RD and he was told that his reissue will not have the SF packaging or backstamp.
I'm over the moon that it has the backstamp and packaging and when I saw David's post this morning I rang my brother straight away and he was over joyed!
I don't take kindly to one of "our" very own board members saying that I'm spreading false info without the full story. Next time get all he facts first before making someone look like they are spreading ****. I just come on here to enjoy my passion for 007 and share information with like minded individuals.

Ok Chris, admittedly I didn't read all your post regarding this matter, but first of these said that Feb release won't have stamp and sleeve (see your post #140 which I'm referring to), it did felt kinda mixed bag as RD gave me totally opposed information from their sales representatives. I'm guilty as charged if I was too harsh by saying "spreading false info"
No harm done here and despite I'm the a$$hole here - i hope you accept my point of view with my apologies :007)

"Each 'Jack' has a limited edition 007 backstamp and specially printed box sleeve."
Now when I ordered mine, I was under the impression, since the word 'limited' had been used, that I was buying a LIMITED item, that once sold out would no longer be available.
Now RD have twigged how popular the item is, they have changed their item description and done a rerun.
I'm not a happy bunny.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that others who missed their chance have now got an opportunity to buy their Jacks direct from RD at a sensible price instead of getting ripped off on evilbay, BUT I do feel that the original item description was misleading.
Am I alone in this way of thinking or are there others who feel the same?
I for my part have missed the initial issue and happy that they have done it again.
Not sure if the accusations above are fair, I am sure that the minority is buying to make big bucks on ebay for their items.
But If a company issues an item being "linited edition" - probably with a number like BR did, I expect them to keep their word and find it not ok to come back later with exactly the same product. That's why I have cancelled my oder with them when they increased the numbers.
I for my part feel a bit rushed to buy things which are limited edition, so it's definitely a sales pitch against me and I likely buy more and faster than with non-limited things. In return I expect honesty and fairness.
My 2 cents.

WOW, I'll hope they can fulfill orders placed via the UK webpage. I would imagine the rest 500 won't last long...

Obviously they were clueless about the demand for these and prob with the recession and slump in sales have gone for gold and pumped out more.
I have no probs since it means more fans getting one however feel they should at least apologise or explain this to be honest, it's false advertising.
Would be interesting to see Managements explanation, prob just offer you a refund or some crap
