    Great info, Donk.
    How heavy is the book at the end? I'll have to carry it in my luggage from the US back home to Germany.
    Amazon.com price is a steal compared to the german price.

    I'll measure & weigh it for you. The box has a fairly heavy duty built in carry handle -{

    According to Amazon it's 7kg/16 lbs!!! I've seen it but haven't touched it. Based on its size, I can believe it weighs that much!

    So are there any new Connery Submariner shots or some more background where that watch came from?

    Anything unseen before with regards props?

    As you can expect, I'm always on the look out for decent reference material, so does the taschen effort include the usual suspects, or does it have some new unique shots?

    Okay here's the lowdown on this incredible volume:

    First off it weighs 7kg and measures 420mm x 310mm x 55mm.

    THERE ARE NO PROPS AS SUCH JP as this is not THAT ARCHIVE which also means no timepieces :D however this is the greatest pictorial guide I have ever had the pleasure of adding to my Bond library. In short, the photo content is FOOKING AMAZING!

    There are photos you will have seen before within the 600 glossy pages however there are a hell of a large number you will not have seen before such as the camera car for TSWLM Lotus Esprit & Jet Ranger high speed chase sequence. What on earth could keep up with those two? pretty obvious really, a second Lotus Esprit S1.

    Each movie, including the non-EON produced (Casino Royale #1 & NSNA) are lavishly illustrated in numerical release order & there is a pretty good spread of colour plates for Skyfall which would have been major spoilers hence the volumes delayed release.

    In short this volume contains something for everyone from rare documents to rare prototype poster images to some of the greatest behind the scenes images from The Incredible World of 007!

    Even though it has a retail of £135 (or less) it is worth every damn penny....and how!

    Donk -{

    Too bad, that they did not do it about THE Archives, now that would be a book to my taste! -{
