Did anyone else notice this from TMWTGG?

When I was ranking my top 22 (would like to before I see SF), I mentioned this in my micro-review of the film The Man with the Golden Gun: "[T]he kung fu 10-year-olds* is right out of Austin Powers (also, does anyone else find it creepy that Mary Goodnight is jealous when she sees them waving out of the back of Lt. Hip's Mercedes-Benz 220 (W115)? Or is she just THAT stupid [unfortunately, she does seem to project that image on-screen]?)."

*Upon reflection, they look more like they're in their early teens.

Emphasis on the bolded stuff. I know we talk a lot about Bibi Dahl in FYEO, but did Mary Goodnight actually think Bond was going after jailbait THAT YOUNG? Was this a testament to something we don't know (implication that Bond is a pedophile...), poor writing (it did after all abound in this film), or is Mary Goodnight just supposed to be THAT stupid (as mentioned, she did project that screen image? Either way, to avoid the unfortunate implications this has, I just choose to believe Mary Goodnight is a complete and total idiot or alternately needs her eyes checked (the Mercedes Benz W115 chassis cars have HUGE rear windows, which is why someone probably thought the gag up in the first place).

Same here; still a bit of an odd plothole (and by the way, the implications I'm sure were truly unintentional...perhaps they even planned to cast older actresses when this scene was thought up).
