I agree with Martin Aston, and plus I am pretty sure you can darken the Zara boots, a shade or two up, toward a true brown color. There are details on the Zara boot which make me believe that the correct boot is what the stores are currently selling. It just needs to be more brown.
thanks guys !
can you confirm to me that this is the one you are takling about ?

Testing two different sets of applications, based on two suede samples I have. Unfortunately, I cannot field test properly, until I get the correct size of boot, as I ordered the wrong size from Zara. Shall post my findings when I am done. I have colored corrected leather before but never suede.
I am leaning toward, this application, no tacky residue, brings out a true brown color, dries fast, no color bleed. But it might change the texture of the suede to feel like the Clarks beeswax leather.
Check this out, looks pretty close, there is dark line on the side wall of the shoe that is very clear, in the fuzz picture.
My test worked pretty well, I cannot wait to try my hand at a real boot, the texture of the suede after was pretty good. Definitely two shades darker. Not sure how accurate it is to the screen boot in terms of color but I like it especially when I wear the LVC jacket with the boots. It matches better.
Teasers...
The blend is good, the texture is what I am going for, the stitch color is retained. But I doubt, if the screen boots were color corrected, that the costume department was as anal as me.
Sorry for the confusion, the image I posted is the correct Zara boots worn in Skyfall, they are not Clarks, even though I truly wish Bond wore Clarks, better build quality and very British.
For those who are looking myself included, the correct boot is the Zara desert sport ankle boots model 5286302113. The closest sub I can find is a pair of Church's, color off, but the general shape and look is there.
What's better: this is the same warehouse I had the Zara shirts from XD If you're interested in these, please PM! They have sizes 40, 41, 42, 43, 44 and 45, only one pair of every one of these So be fast!
