I have a few CJ and Church boots however also picked up a second pair of Clarks Desert boots (in as closest to the Zaras)

They are very comfy and great for the money, I did look at the Zara deserts a while back (wrong colour) and to be honest didnt think too much of them

Well Zara is not a great shoe maker, let's be honest here. :) It's just the matter of what you want: good, comfortable boots to wear or screen accurate ones for your collection. My jaw dropped after I found these, I was searching a few months for them, yet nowhere have I seen these in the colour David has. The model I have is just the closest thing you can get, like the black Air Articulates, which are still not screen accurate, but close. :)

The colour is quite similar actually I think, because I remember that when I had yours in my hand they looked also grey.

Guys, thinking of getting my Enjoying Death boots from Next-which one do you think I should go for and would be the most screen accurate from these 3?

    http://www.next.co.uk/g5050s4#832541g50

I think I may have ordered the last one but not sure-I ordered it in the shop, and having saw the others online confused as to which one I ordered now! Which one would you buy to complete the outfit? Also, anybody bought very brown desert/chukka boots to go with the Enjoying Death look? I'd like to maybe do the Mathis villa look at some stage, so it might save me buying two pairs of boots.

I bought the stone colour to complete my outfit. They're a close match to the Zara's IMO

They're very comfortable and I've had many a comment on them - cheap too!

Really surprised no one is interested in the boots I posted here, wanting 50 euros for them! :) Scroll up for pictures, screen accurate model.

I had considered the Clarks guys, and maybe would have even bought the Clarks, if any Clarks store I visited had them! I like to be able to try on stuff before I buy it, especially shoes, so the store already having a pair or a similar pair, is somewhat of a must with me. MrEddy, when you say you bought the Stone colour, you mean from Next? Or Zara? If it's the Next ones, the ones I tried on (I think the Stone Suede) were the most comfortable pair of shoes I've had on, felt more like wearing slippers! And Mr Z, am I right in saying your pair is the screen accurate model but not the screen accurate colour? That would be why I've not jumped. I think the stone colour for me would match well with other clothes, so that's why I'm keen on the stone colour.

A Clarks store without desert boots?!?!? Wow, I wouldn't have thought they existed.

    Hey Scotty,

Yeah I meant the Next pair in stone, they're a really good alternative and they really are like wearing slippers.

    Cheers

Ha, well, the ones I've visited must be a rarity then! My Next boots came-I think I've established I've got the colour featured on this page-http://www.next.co.uk/g5050s4#832541g50 Is the colour close enough to be screen accurate?

A pair of the correct model, size 41, popped up, wrong colour ("stone") however. Everybody knows how they look like, so I'm not going to post the pictures, as these are brand new! :) My guy brought them from an outlet store in Spain.

If someone is interested - again, contact me via PM.

Basing on the pictures below I'm pretty sure I found the screen accurate model in the correct colour combination:

If someone's interested, PM me. I'm not asking for a specific amount of money, as a lot of people are interested in these, so the member who will give the highest price will get these :)

    Size 43.

They are not the correct boots. There should be 2 x rows of lace holes (6 in total per boot, not 4). Colour not far off though. Sorry

You're wrong. The model is correct, compare them to the pictures David posted in this thread. Every detail fits, there is no additional stitching at the back etc.

Here is the picture of the shoes he has: http://postimg.cc/image/l4tgunmdd/

Mr Zareba is correct .... these appear to be the correct ones .. the model has been discussed at length in other posts..
I have the exact same shoe but in the wrong (non SA ) colour...

My apologies if I'm wrong, I got my info from board members and the SKYFALL: Master List of Clothing and Merchandise Featured in the Film. Sorry again for the confusion! :-)

David, can you confirm the colour for us? These look a little darker than yours, and the laces look darker too.
  • MrZarebaMrZareba Krakow, PolandPosts: 1,775MI6 Agent
I'm still waiting for a confirmation from the guy, I'm not sure about them basing on these pictures also.

The boot in Skyfall had a small leather tab on the top of the tongue. Dave, I hope you do not mind me posting some screen caps of the podcast, done so to provide a better reference.
This is the correct boot, in the picture below. The leather tab is slightly visible on the top of the tongue. It's a small detail but one that is usually over looked.

Yup, that's correct, there must be this small leather accent on the top of the tongue. But basing on the pictures I have currently I can't say whether there is one or not unfortunately.

Hard to say from the pics...it looks a little dark...these photograph different ways...for example they look the correct color from the video-podacast but compare it to my pics, then no....have you compared SKU numbers? Also, ask for any numbers and markings on the inside...I can post pics of the inside...

I'm afraid these are new without tags :/
  • MrZarebaMrZareba Krakow, PolandPosts: 1,775MI6 Agent
UPDATE: the guy replied, he says that these are brown, fading into some kind of green under the light (?). Well, at least these are not grey. I asked him for the pictures of the tag if he still has it and the tongue.

UPDATE: unfortunately, the model number is 2283/002/004 707 Made in Portugal. These are not the screen accurate ones :/ It was worth a shot anyway. I will keep looking for these. ;)
