Thanks for that. I have to say the joint services one 'looks the part' but would love the real one - I looked for the Puma one but couldn't find anything
I will be keeping an eye on it. If it was made i 2011 it will be bloody difficult to find it but really rare stuff pops up on allegro.pl from time to time. I'll keep you posted (unless a set in my size appears, then I'm afraid I will be the individual who will buy it )
The thermal base layer was confirmed to be from American Apparel, right?
I think it's Puma but watching the movie I'm not quite there. I just got the Winter PTI Jacket from joint services and I think it's more SA than the normal one
What do you think makes it more SA than the regular one? They look identical on the site, other than the interior colour on the winter version being darker. I would think that there are more differences than that but the pictures don't show them...

I spotted right away that the collar is slightly different, also the colour seems to match the screen accurate one, the PTI from jointservice looks more greyish to me eye.

Where did you see pictures of it? I now see that the picture of the winter PTI on the JSC site is the same picture as the regular PTI, just with the colours slightly adjusted. You can tell because every fold and crease is identical between the two photos.

The winter one is a darker blue than the other and the material seems a little different

I never put much thought into this outfit, as I assumed he was wearing pants that matched the jacket (i.e. the same one you can get from the website with the matching pants). Who knew they were Pumas?
I saved these images from the prototype ebay listing, and clearly the ankle cuffs are different. Also the SA one had colour matched stitching for the logos so they were near invisible, and the SIS logo of course..
I don't think it was ever available commercially, only make for SF. This, from memory was someone selling one of the prototypes on eBay, and i saved the photo's for my own reference. JaredNomek i think obtained one, whether it was the SA one, or a proto, I'm not sure..
Yes it is SA but also the first one made, the differences between the one I have and the screen used one was the costume department coloured in the white Puma Logo just like the blanked out the adidas logo from the shoes. The Top was certainly a only made for the film, the trousers might have been avalible in black as when we did a search with the code it was the same but only in a list of products so I have never actually seen them.
The other thing the did for the Screen used one was simply break the Puma logo off the zip.
According to what I was told it was DC's choice to use Puma.
The women I got it from was a Puma exec and worked on the project she said they were only two made but I would imagine there would be more that that.

That's what I've been told. But comparing the pictures from the site and from PropStore the colour seems different, regardless of the lighting.

This is more of a stretch.

It has contrast stitching and zip ankles, but unfortunately the pockets aren't zippered. Still, looks decent for $30 if combined with the PTI jacket.
