thoughts ...a year on.

it was just over 12 months ago that David posted this:

http://www.ajb007.co.uk/topic/37445/skyfall-clothing-accessories-etc/

and we all started to get excited :)
when i look at the 1st reactions to the " enjoying Death" clothes i wonder how may of those people who said "dont like" blah blah" have now got them.
it makes really interesting reading as we all tried to figure out if the stubble rough look was part of the film or actually off set!
some of us said that we thought it wasn't gonna be in the final cut...
it makes good reading..
roll on bond 24 ....
"some men are coming to kill us, we're going to kill them first"

Yeah, having just seen Skyfall last night im a bit sad to see that the year (or 4 years rather) of speculation, raising excitement, and such is over for the film. But on the other hand, i am a bit Skyfall'ed out after this year long lead up to the films release, anybody else feel like this?

I find this to be the quintessential conundrum as a passionate Bond fan. If there can be something called a "professional fan," I think most of us in here would qualify. We find ourselves obsessed (and in some ways obligated) to finding out about locations and clothing, etc. – spoilers be damned – that, not only do we usually already know the whole story of the film, prior to release, but we're actually fatigued by it.

Therefore, have we given up the right to just enjoy seeing a James Bond film for the first time?
    "Resurrection."
