So I get the link to Fleming - sort of - with the Hoffritz and Floris, but where does the Taylors "connection" come from?

Taylors of BOND Street. Purveyors of the finest shaving accessories. I have it on good authority that the bowl was Taylors too, but I've not seen that myself in person and the source is 100% reliable. Both Floris and Taylors use the same source for their wooden bowls, so it doesn't really matter which you get as they identical apart from the soap insert. I got Floris as I like their stuff and the Fleming connection.

Okay, sort of swallow the "of Bond street" thing (if you are going to chose any shaving accessory and then not identify it on screen).

Makes sense I guess that the bowl (and its contents) and brush should match, too, but the consensus is, of course, Floris, and does say "Floris" on the underside ;)

Well, if you are going for ultimate screen accuracy, you should go with Taylors. As you never see the bottom of the bowl on screen though, I'm happy with Floris.

Had a Floris bowl for years. Keep my loose change it (prefer Trumper's Eucris).

My change bowl's good enough for me.

Which brush is that, ASP? On the Taylor website, the only black one they have is the 1020 but it has dark bristles and is not from their high-end Jermyn collection. Do you have a stock number for the one your ood is holding?

They only have about 20% of their collection on the web site. I was told it was the Jermyn collection medium brush.

Great bit of work as it's so hard to see and it looks like the right one
