It's the disused Embankment Underground exit junction of Whitehall Pl and Northumberland Av where Silver surfaces after the Underground scene and jumps into Police Landrover for the first time.

I have another I will post later B-)

The view opposite with theatre in the distance on the left

    Silver making his exit

Knew I recognised it but could not think where it was this exit is disused but they put an Underground sign above to make it look real -

    the power of film amazing

Marks and Spencer Autograph collection last season removed the pockets and swapped the buttons and hey presto TF on the cheap. :))

I tried Magnoli but it was too large on arrival and wool quality was not as good as this one. Levis 307's, TF 108's and Ryders though so half and half really (plus the 42mm PO of course) B-)

Casino shirt from Magnoli though nice fit all done by guess work!

May pick up a real TF Cardi if I every visit Milan on business trip (its one promise I made myself) until then this one will have to do

    Cheers :007)

    Trinity House.

I forget the number of times that particular building has been used in various productions. Most notably The Professionals and Spooks.

You got it but have to say there are a lot of works taking place there and no chance ever of getting the classic exit shot round the back it's all been wiped out for building works real shame but progress I guess

More to follow next time I am in town

    Cheers B-)

The suit in the first picture looks great - source? Is it a TF or a very accurate approximation?

TF I wished I do James Bond on a budget and throw in originals as and when they come up. This is a suit from UK brand TM Lewin its Sharkskin and I had them add turn ups to the tailored fit trousers, also bought a waistcoat and second pair of strides without turn up for the classic Connery look as well

    Cheers :007)

Yeah add in UK import fees and taxis and its cheaper to wait until I am actually in NY or Milan and wear it through the 'Nothing to declare channel' at customs at the airport B-)

I have had mixed fortunes doing that. I have colleagues in US and have ordered and sent items to them from companies within the US. When they post it over sometimes I have had to pay import taxes other times not. I cannot of course condone such action but it happens we all know that.

For Billy Read I tried ordering from here in the UK but their systems knew I was not in the US and the transaction failed.

Your idea may be your only option other than go there and buy one yourself ;)

Wearing 2 I guess small with a medium may work but will look like the Michelin man and it may get noticed B-)

    Thanks for the compliments guys -{

Is the jacket from Tom Ford?

I'm assuming you're talking about my jacket. unfortunately it's not. I don't think I could ever afford the real deal in my lifetime. the jacket is made by abercrombie and fitch. it's official name is the "rollins pond" jacket. closest thing I could find to the real deal. slim fit, no elastic waist or cuffs and it's a dark navy. not as formal looking as the tom ford but it's a beautiful, well made jacket in it's own right and you can easily get the quantum of solace look.

here's a better picture of the jacket
