Cool, the writer likes the same scene as I do in DAD. Brosnan owns that scene and it's the best scene in the whole movie.

I can't believe he picked the funhouse duel between Bond and Scaramanga as the best scene in TMWTGG. What a wasted opportunity that scene was, particularly as the film's climax. And "the viewer doesn't really know if Bond will make it out alive or not"? Is that ever really in doubt in a Bond movie? Please!!!

    My thoughts:

DN - It's a good moment, but I would have chosen Honey coming out of the sea
FRWL - I would have chosen the train fight hands down
GF - I think I would have chosen the fort knox raid, with everyone pretending to die
TB - I would have chosen Angelo's hijack and death
YOLT - The volcano battle for me
OHMSS - Bobsled chase for me
    DAF - Agree
LALD - Disagree. For me, Baron Samedi coming out of the ground
TMWTGG - I would have chosen Scaramanga's introduction to Bond
TSWLM - Pyramids sequence for me
MR - Centrifugal scene for me
FYEO - I totally disagree. There are many great moments in this film, but this isn't one of them. My favourite is probably bond scaling the cliff
OP - I think I agree. But I also love bond as a clown disarming the bomb
AVTAK - Agree, but the mine and city hall fire are close too for me
TLD - I would have chosen the bond/necros fight on the net hanging from the plane
LTK - The road chase for me
GE - It's a great PTS, but I'd probably go with the tank chase
TND - I'd choose the freefall I think
TWINE - I'd choose the bit where Valentin frees bond from elektra by shooting - lots of tension
DAD - Fencing fight for me
CR - Scene where bond is poisoned IMO, then the torture then
QOS - That's like, the worst moment of the film! I'd pick the burning building fights

And just for the heck of it:
    Skyfall -
    The whole scotland climax
    1 - LALD, 2 - AVTAK, 3 - LTK, 4 - OP, 5 - NTTD, 6 - FYEO, 7 - SF, 8 - DN, 9 - DAF, 10 - TSWLM, 11 - OHMSS, 12 - TMWTGG, 13 - GE, 14 - MR, 15 - TLD, 16 - YOLT, 17 - GF, 18 - DAD, 19 - TWINE, 20 - SP, 21 - TND, 22 - FRWL, 23 - TB, 24 - CR, 25 - QOS

    1 - Moore, 2 - Dalton, 3 - Craig, 4 - Connery, 5 - Brosnan, 6 - Lazenby

I disagreed with nearly every "Best Moment/s" between Doctor No and For Your Eyes Only. I stopped reading at that point. Some strange choices.

Some of it seems he's mentioning the worst moments...

Some of these choices may seem a bit leftfield but it's those little bits that for me make the hairs stand up on the back of the neck.

DR. NO - Prof. Dent collecting Tarantula from Crab Key
FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE - Red Grant threatening Bond on Orient Express
GOLDFINGER - Oddjob beckoning Bond to get up after a pummeling in Fort Knox
THUNDERBALL - Bond finding Fiona in his bath
YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE - Aki's death
ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE - Bond's phone box attempt to contact London cut short by machine gun fire
DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER - Bond’s attempted cremation
LIVE & LET DIE - Bond's escape from alligator island
THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN - Scaramanga caressing Andrea with his golden gun
THE SPY WHO LOVED ME - Bond knocking Sandor's hand away from his tie on rooftop
MOONRAKER - Bond surviving centrifuge trainer
FOR YOUR EYES ONLY - Bond kicking Locque & car off cliff edge
    OCTOPUSSY - 009's murder
A VIEW TO A KILL - Zorin's look of disbelief upon realising May Day's scuppered his plans
THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS - Bond's anger after Saunders' murder
LICENCE TO KILL - Bond threatening Lupe on Krest's yacht
GOLDENEYE – Bond calmly wiping brow after knocking out a Manticore deckhand
TOMORROW NEVER DIES - Bond casually knocking out a Carver henchman with large ashtray
THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH - Bond’s saunter through Zukovsky’s casino with X-ray glasses
DIE ANOTHER DAY - Bond using ejector seat to flip Aston Martin right way up
CASINO ROYALE - Le Chiffre’s torture scene speech
QUANTUM OF SOLACE - Bond coming face to face with Dominic Greene & cohorts at opera
SKYFALL - Bond using front DB5 machine guns to shoot Silva's men

I would have to say the Silvas first scene. That whole scene is brilliant, and kind of unsettling to.
