Quick question guys. Would you recommend getting the Bobby and the N. Peal in the same size. Based on the sizes on their websites, it looks pretty close to me. I was going to go XL with both of them.

    Thanks!

I have the Bobby XL, have the N Peal L. From memory I would say the N Peal is slightly more roomier then the XL!!!!! I would imagine the XL N Peal would be very big

Thanks! Wish I could go to a store and try these things on! Sometimes to get the right sleeve length, I have to wear the rest of the shirt a little big.

Got my Barbour from Goodstead last week in a XXL. Love the coat but it is tight around the shoulders and across the back as I have pretty broad shoulders. Is there anyway this coat can be let out? I see someone contacted Barbour about them doing this. Any info would be helpful as I'm fairly unschooled in these matters. Thanks!

    Gordon,

Do you mind sharing your stats as I am debating whether or not to try and find an XXL somewhere myself. Hopefully there is one leftover after the presales all ship!

Thanks for the response! I am a very similar size to you and think I am going to go for the XXL if I can find it.

I'm 6:2.5. 44 chest and 34 waist with 51 .shoulders and found the xl fitted well except I had to have the middle taken in. If you Are slim the xxl will be like a tent around your middle. I weigh 215...

    Hi mate

I take a size 10 in a shoe, but in boots I tend to go half a size down as I have thin ankles. I have the Tetbury in 9 and a half as I do the Ryder 3 and they are both fit fine. No problems. If the 9 and a half is a little too snug for your liking you could always get them stretched a little.

    Good luck!

    Hi All,

Thanks for all the hard work for providing the resources. I have been following for a while.

Quick question, I am going to order a BR coat, just wanted to double check sizing before pulling the trigger.

    Chest: around 42"
    Waist: 35-36"
    Shoulder: around 19"

I am thinking of an XL

    Thanks for the help!

Thanks, I am slightly larger than 42 but I am in between so I am not entirely sure.

How's the fit on you? Snug?

ReturningSon is 5’10, 160lbs. Lean athletic build.

    In order of appearance!

    1.)
A.) Levis Menlo Leather Jacket Size Medium
    (correct season that Craig wore)

chest (armpit to armpit across front) 21 Inches
Sleeve Length (Shoulder seam down arm to end of cuff) 25 Inches
Backlength (base of collar seam down back) 24 Inches
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam across back: 19.5 (which is responsible for that droopy shoulder look)
2 Inches in waist side adjusters

B.) Levis Menlo 2012 Reissue Size Medium

    measurements

chest (armpit to armpit across front) 20.5 Inches

Sleeve Length (Shoulder seam down arm to end of cuff) 26 Inches

Backlength (base of collar seam down back) 25.5 Inches

Shoulder seam to shoulder seam across back: 19 (which is responsible for that droopy shoulder look)

2 Inches in waist side adjusters

2.) Orlebar Brown Skyfall Setter Swim Trunks in Sky Size 32

    DSC07065.jpg

    DSC07066.jpg

    DSC07067.jpg

    DSC07068.jpg

fit tighter than I would like (these are 32 but they measure 15.5 inches hip to hip laid flat and I think Im a true 32 inch waist)

    DSC07088.jpg

    DSC07058.jpg

Waist (hip to hip across): 15.5

Thigh Leg (from inseam outwards): 4 Inches

3.) Billy Reid Skyfall Shanghai Peacoat Size Medium

    DSC06787_zps336947b7.jpg
    DSC06789_zpse0539818.jpg

Note: I am not wearing a sweater/jumper under the peacoat, just the shirt & tie

Chest (armpit seam to armpit seam) 20 inches
Now this was actually really hard to measure because of the cut. It kinda tapers out in a way and my peacoat has still been sitting in its box (Dont worry, that will change soon) so the chest may be off by a half inch or so.
The rest of these measurements are ACCURATE (Taken with tailors tape laying flat)
Sleeve Length (Shoulder seam down arm to end of cuff): 25 Inches
Back Length (Base of collar seam down back to end): 29 Inches
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam across back: 18 Inches

    4.) Tom Ford Marko tf144 18v Sunglasses

    Measurements
    •Bridge: 13.00 millimeters
    •Arm: 140.00 millimeters
    •2.00" high

I usually wear glasses with the following dimensions
    Eye: 48MM
    Bridge: 20MM
    Temple: 145MM
    And the markos fit perfect

5.) Barbour Tokito Skyfall Lodge Jacket Size Medium

chest (armpit to armpit across): 20 Inches
Note: This is not the seam to seam but the actual pit to pit smoothed flat
Sleeve Length (from shoulder seam to cuff); 26 Inches
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam across back: 17.5 Inches
Back length (base of collar down back): 29 Inches

6.) Crockett & Jones Islay Scotch Grain Lodge Boot

    Size 9.5 (US)D Width
    Measurements
Length (from heel to toe underside): 12.5 Inches
Widest Part of Shoe: 4.65 Inches

Note: These do size big. I normally wear a 10 or thereabouts in just everything. Most of my dress shoes are 9.5 (TODS, Stafford) or 10 (Cole Haan). I wear a 9.5 in Clarks and a 10 in converse, sneaks, vans. So, these are about a half size big but not quite a full half size as they are just a hair tight. Mine are almost brand new so I’m sure with some breaking in, they would stretch out. Furthermore, these seem to frequently be seen in a “E” width which isn’t standard. Im a standard D width and these boots are D and these fit fine in terms of width.
Btw, for my US friends who may have trouble tracking down this shoe, Barney’s now has these completely restocked. I don’t know if they are yet in stores but they are an official retailer of these so if you have a local Barneys you may want to go down and give them a try for fit.

7.) All Saint “Iggy” Corduane Lodge Pants Size 32Inseam (hip to hip across): 16.5

    DSC06955.jpg

Inseam (from crotch seam down leg): 32
Leg Opening (seam to seam laid flat): 7
    Front Rise: 10 Inches
I wear a 32 in everything from Nudie to APC and these fit perfect.
