    The Base Layer from Jointservicesclothing is pretty good for actual excercise - but not really SA. I like mine and wear it a lot, but the shirt in the movie is by far not as shiny and has a more "woven" texture and, as mentioned, distinctive diagonal seams.

    I thought there were diagonal seams (raglan sleeves) as well based on some of the pictures, but they're regular seams as can be seen when watching the film (they're just pushed up into an odd position when Craig is doing pullups). The shirt has a small waffle-knit texture and on the advice of a fellow poster here I have found the "baby thermal" shirt at American Apparel to look exceptionally SA.

    Excellent find! I looked it up just now and think colour, cut and texture look absolutely SA. Luckily they sell them in taller sizes, too. Ordered one right away. :) Thank you for the good advice!

    No problem, I'm just passing on what someone else told me. I have two myself and they are excellent quality and look even better in real life. Also, for such a thin shirt they are very warm.

    I have a just spoken with Andrew from JSC who told me that the base layer and the jacket are defo the same ones used in the film.
    They did supply some traing pants but they wern't used in the film. he says he has seen some pics of a DC wearing these pants they supplied.

    The pti jacket is clearly of an older issued design. Jsc's jacket is not issued to the military but made under licence. If you look at the cinched bottom on the jsc jacket it is different from the one in the movie.

    This is an example of a real issued Pti jacket.

    The base layer Is definetly not the one in the movie, if you look at the bluray you can spot a waffle texture on it.
    And they told you they provide the garments for the movie? If that's the case, I'm really surprised that they need somebody who made the sis logo.

    Thats what i was thinking.. unless the production company put the logo on?
    put yes the MD reckoned to me that they supplied em ..
    but supplying them doesn't mean they were used in the end cut.. they may of chosen someone else's..

    Hi Andy

    I also have dropped you an email a while ago about a price for the logo as I purchased a 'blank' jacket and would like to get the logo put on at a higher stitch count. Again like minigeff said if you would prefer to keep it to yourself no hard feelings.
    Could you drop me a pm/email either way.

    Cheers -{

    Bit new to this outfit, but if the Joint Services isn't the screen accurate item, is there anything stopping someone doing a run of these independently? Add in postage from the UK and these aren't the cheapest.

    I know this post is from awhile ago, but did anybody ever do an independent run of this outfit? I ordered from JSC back in OCT but order still hasn't arrived (been in touch with Andrew but not much response as of late). Looking for alternatives if anybody found one. Thanks.
