    Hi Guys,

I know I'm incredibly late to the game but does anybody know where I could find a small "enjoying death" Zara shirt? Or at least a good alternative?

    Usually stick to props but decided to try and pick up a few bits of clothing to wear -{

Does anyone know if it's possible to get the COS Classic shirt shipped to Canada? I tried ordering the cornflower blue version just now and seemingly they don't ship to North America from the regular COS website.

    Thanks for any help.

Just want members to know that if they are planning to dye any type of shirt or trousers they should be aware that for novices or even those who have done it only a few times, the common Rit Dyes used at home can have inconsistent results. Any material that is a man made blend or purely synthetic can be problematic. Even natural ones like cotton, wool or linen can give one problems as most often the thread used in the garment is synthetic and will not dye the same shade as the garment (for example, a dyed navy shirt may come out with thread that is a lighter blue or even have a reddish hue to it). Professionals use dyes that are much higher quality than the Rit product. After a few less than stellar attempts at doing this myself, I ended up only using a professional to do the work. It's not low cost, but the result is much more satisfying, a lot less hassle, no mess and if one is dealing with a garment that is no longer sold, it's a safer solution. If you call the professional or can actually take it in, they can tell you if it can be dyed properly.

Excellent timing as I quite literally at this moment have a pair of somewhat-faded black jeans sitting in a bucket of RIT black dye and hot water! I will keep you posted.

Are all the ties Craig wears in Skyfall skinny ties?

I'm trying to find a nice black silk tie to emulate his Shanghai outfit. Was there any pattern in the tie? Can't seem to locate a good picture of the original. :(

I believe all of the Skyfall ties were skinny, about 3 inches wide.

The screen-used Shanghai tie was by COS. It was plain black with a subtle woven texture, as seen here: http://www.ajb007.co.uk/topic/37445/skyfall-clothing-accessories-etc/page/61/

The Tie Bar has some great budget alternatives: http://www.thetiebar.com/order_page.asp?pn=22469

Thanks bud! Definitely going to check out that first Tie Bar recommendation.

Got a few other questions... dunno if anyone here can answer them.

For all the white dress shirts Craig wears, does he wear french cuffs with his suits/tuxes and barrel cuffs when worn under sweaters as in the Shanghai scene? Speaking of which... what cuff links did he use during the Shanghai scene?

All saints currently have the iggy cords in beige on their website. If you're willing to dye them (as they were for the movie some say) then you can have the original rather than an alternative

£88 if my memory is right

What I meant to say was, the ones on the website now looks far more skinnier then the previous Iggys?

It's possible. I don't own a pair of these or last year's one, so maybe someone who has either of them can comment?

I don't remember there being different cuts of "iggy" so just assumed they would be the same.

I own 3 pairs. One sa, one from last year and the model from this season.
all iggys have the same fit.

Not as bad as the shocking Sunspel price hike for the Riviera after CR!!!!!!

Never was I so glad to have got in early! Still wear it after all these years (had to dye it though - too tight fisted to buy a new one)

What price did they originally go for £40ish?

I still reckon the older versions were softer and made better by Sunspel before the switch to Turkey

I have to agree with you there as I have both and the made in England one seems much nicer. It's a shame really as I've bought loads off them in the past with them being locally made. I just sent a load of stuff back that I received from them to find half was made in Turkey and Portugal. Guess I'm on the hunt for a new company to replace them. They were nice enough to take it back, though did say I will have to look very close at the website from now on lol.

You'd think with the big savings they have in production costs the price would be cheaper! Lol I know that will never happen. Have a look loads of the basic t shirts are being made abroad now. I may be fussy but would rather put my money into my own economy haha.

Just a quick reminder that the Gun Holster worn in the film by James Bond, during the Tube Train scene is a Vega IWB # 333 for the the Walther PPK. It is only seen for a brief second, when Bond jumps onto the Tube train, but that is what is is. Check with your nearest sporting goods dealer that offers hunting/ firearms stuff. I got mine from www.pythonholsters.com who is based in the US, they are a great company to do business with and they helped me get a Vega IBW# 339 for my Airsoft Walther P99 back in 2008.

PS: Still no positive match for the Black Leather Shoulder Holster seen in the opening scenes of Skyfall from my end. According to some other more experienced collectors here, it seems to be a modified Price Western Leather holster since Price Western has supplyied by the British Armed Forces and the Metropolitan Police Service for many years with holsters.

Anyone know the brand or style of holster Bond is wearing in the teaser poster? It looks like brown leather.

Pretty sure it's a custom, in the last 15 years the shoulder holsters used always have been.

Cant believe that this film is just about four years old now, how time flies. Still my favorite period of ID'ing and hunting down Bonds wardrobe.
