Mission
After terrorists target a Scottish nuclear facility, 007 is deployed to the Far East to investigate the prolific businessman Sir Henry Lee Ching. In Hong Kong, James Bond rendezvous with retiring spy Denholm Crisp, crosses paths with the Chinese Secret Service and teams up with jewel-smuggler Connie Webb to get to the bottom of Ching's shady past and prevent global pandemonium that could spark World War Three.

I read this a while ago. I've read other sources too, and apparently it had the rumored title "The Property Of A Lady". Man, this should have happened

I believe that The Property of a Lady should be released somewhere in 1992, in order to coincide the 30th anniversary of the franchise. It is also a good start for Brosnan, if Dalton decided to retire at that time.

Thanks for that, TP. It sounds like it could've been a fantastic Bond - perhaps even Dalton's best. Shame it never happened.

I'd be happy to see Dalton in anything Bond or otherwise.

I've always admired Timothy Dalton as James Bond and would have had no problem seeing him in another film, shame about the legal issues. He was the right man at the wrong time. What might have been indeed......
