PPK collected yesterday, a bit of a delay as the dealer who collects section 5 stuff from the mainland has been very busy transporting weapons for the World Police and Fire Games.
7.65 mm Walther PPK, serial number places it between 1955 and 1965 so a Manurihin manufactured model. It is like new with no wear at all so must have been in storage for most of the last 40-50 years. Down to the range tomorrow to ty it out -{
Tempted http://www.waltherarms.com/products/handguns/ppks-22/ I know it is a cheaper made version but original PP/PPK pistols are like hens teeth here at the minute (I have been looking) and this would give me a very low cost pistol shooting option with a classic look.
Had a look at one of these today, cheap and nasty , trigger pull on double action is over 18 pounds I'm glad I didn't go for one and got the real thing instead.
Somewhere around 250-300 rds trough P99 during yesterday. It gets to be a chore when you take it seriously enough... Man my right thumb sore from loading the mags and my left hand is rubbed raw from racking the slide in reload and misfire drills

Here buddy, why don't you put 'I OWN A REAL P99 & PPK' in your signature? It'd save you having to mention it in just about every post you make! )
Down to the dealer tomorrow, have tracked down another Bond related handgun for sale , featured in Live and Let Die but more famously carried by Harry Callahan It's available from the dealers German supplier just hope he can import it for me B-)
