Have these been confirmed as the "enjoying Death" chinos? i would just like to make sure because Topman seems to have alot of similar looking pants.

Yeh they are almost identical I think I will buy one of the new pairs at the weekend and let people know as I have the old style as seen in skyfall too

Ah sorry, thought you were talking about the slims. I believe that there are only one version of the skinnys right now, but there is a new version of the slims with metal buttons (incorrect).

the skinny and the slim are both different.
the slim ones were used in the film but last years model with a button on the rear pockets.
this years slim doesnt have that.

Yesterday I received my Skyfall blu-ray. I noticed two points, that let me believe, that the 68L19DGRY couldn't be the right Topman chino.

The buttons at the back pockets looks more like horn than black metal buttons. But maybe the costume designer has replaced the original buttons.



The other point are the belt loops at the back. The 68L19DGRY has only one in the middle. In the mirror at the turkey beach it looks like two belt loops at the back of the chino and I didn't believe that the costume department would change that kind of details.

Good work Tintin and Mr Zareba. I went ahead an placed an order for the "O07" model, as it looks from the picture like it has the black buttons and the chinos themselves are the correct color. Something else I noticed that was interesting: while that particular model does not have detailed shots of the belt loop section, the "pale khaki" variation does. Now I don't want to be spreading misinformation here, as I'm not saying these are necessarily the screen accurate ones (to the best of my knowledge, the screen accurate ones are the UK version slim fits from last year). All I'm saying is that this might be the closest we can get with the current stock, with both the correct button colors (potential back pocket button color notwithstanding) and the double belt loops. I'll update here once I receive them to verify that the pictures on the website are accurate. Also, for anyone on the fence about these, there's a current promotion going on here in the US where orders that are $50 or more qualify for free standard shipping. I don't know if it's a time sensitive thing or not, but it's something to keep in mind, as these chinos are exactly $50 and therefore qualify...

Attention! The 68O07EGRY are really skinny. I believe too skinny for a SA look even if the chinos looks very skinny, when Bond walks to the bar along the beach. And I think the belt loops are too close together at this pant.

We should probably accept, that the 100% SA Topman chinos are no longer available, but the light gray slim or skinny chinos are good alternatives. And who knows, maybe they announce a Topman Skyfall chino one day.

Not a big fan of the rolled hems myself; but sadly those too are screen accurate. (Borrowed that picture from Stefan, who posted it in another thread). Looking at that picture, the chinos do seem to be pretty skinny, so I'm hoping that the skinny fits will be close enough to pass. Something else I did to try to combat this: I'm technically a size 31 waist, but 30s usually fit me better than 32s. I ended up ordering both a 30 and a 32, and hopefully the 32s will fit well enough in the waist, as they should also make the legs a tad larger.

This also means I may sell the extra pair, if one of them is truly a bad fit.

Yes I have this years slim fit grey chino from top man. They are more like skinny fit on my steel springs!

this is interesting as I have the skinny chinos and they have the two belt loops on the back, and they really don't fit that skinny, at least on me. I believe the skinnys are more SA then the slims and visually look SA especially in the scene when he's laying in bed.
