    need XL
roi007 I am a 38 inch chest and could use either the Medium or the Large I think. I have no XL to exchange so it would be a cash deal if you are interested? Not sure on which one would be best. My sons have Barbour Chelsea quilted jackets in Small and fit me perfectly. Let me know.

    Thanks

    Gents,

Well this place is a find..!!!!

Just picked up my Pre-ordered Skyfall Barbour Sports jacket size 'M' and it is alas a tad snug.

Any folk wishing to swap their large then please let me know.

Size aside the jacket is stunning.

    Thanks

I have 2 Medium Skyfall Barbour's with a Feb delivery. I would consider trading one for a Billy Reid pea coat in a medium.
    PM me if you're interested

I have a Medium in hand now, not a presale, and would consider a Bond Peacoat too

I'm curious: Why did so many people order the Barbour if, now, they want to trade for the Bond Peacoat? Why not just buy the Bond to begin with? IMO, it's the better coat.

i know this doesn't resemble very much the lodge jacket but i thought i would show you the jacket i bought. Its a nice snug fit with some vague hints of the lodge

    Hi guys.
Does anyone have the jacket with the bottom button in the right SA place in an XL?
I received my Pre-ordered Large today (with the bottom button in the correct place!) however, it's a bit too snug for my 42" chest and broad shoulders.
    PM if interested please.
    Great forum btw! {[]
It has been invaluable and to the regular post-ers in particular, a sincere thank you for your selfless help and detective work. I, like many others here I'm sure, am most grateful ;%

I've got a L and XL on preorder with Goodstead and Karka as I'm not sure on sizing. Will sell the one I don't need at £400+p&p. Not looking to make money on it.

Out of interest, which one fitted better ... and how tall are you / what chest are you?

I have a Large on order from a store in Germany, but worry I've ordered the wrong size (I'm 5'9 and about 42" chest)

Also, reading this, there's a lot of talk of SA and not SA buttons.

Could anyone post pictures of both so that newbies like me can get an idea what you're on about.

    Thanks,

Oh yes please, I would be grateful if someone could do that. I will receive my Barbour jackets tomorrow and would also like to know about the differences between SA and not SA. Thank you!

First jacket is SA. Bottom button is inline with the buttons of the two side pockets. It also is closer spaced to the middle button.

Second jacket is not SA, as bottom button is lower than the buttons of the two side pockets, and has equal space to the middle button as the top button.

No problems. For some it's a big deal for others it's not. Depends how exact you want it to the real thing.

If you have spare time you can read the 53 pages (and counting) dedicated solely to the lodge jacket! I warn you though you may be more confused about sizing than ever...

Thanks for the explanation regarding the buttons ... certainly not something that would trouble me greatly.

Anyone care to have a pop at surmising the sizing debate as featured in the cited 53 page thread? :)
