Hello Agents:

I'm looking for a Billy Reid Bond Peacoat, product ID: 203.1967B, size SMALL.

Preferably new, but if someone has one that they wore and don't like, I would accept that if it's in great condition.

    No problem!

I talked to one of the main guys at Billy Reid today, and unfortunately found out that the Bond Peacoat is no longer going to be a limited run. :( I guess due to the popularity, they are going to producing it as a 'regular' item. They will also be producing it next year as well for sure.

Do let me know if you come across someone with a small that is willing to part with it!

    Cheers! {:)

It looks like a lot of limited addition clothing becomes a regular item when featured in a Bond movie. While some might think that is a bad thing, I personally would rather have these pieces be available to anyone who wants them. I would much rather see the manufacturers and designers earn money for these pieces rather than the people who just bought them to flip on eBay because they are unobtainable.

The one caveat is I hope that none of these companies cheapen their product in order to mass-produce them and sell more at the same price.

Let's be honest the price we pay for these things, it's not like we're going to see everybody walking down the street dressed exactly like us.

Yes. Good point. When I was talking to Billy Reid today, he was saying that so many people are unhappy about the back order, but he was explaining that these are hand cut and tailored in Italy, and their quality standards are "ridiculous," meaning that they only accept the best. So, even though they are being produced in greater numbers now, I think, as long as the process stays the same, that it will be an exceptional coat, the best in my opinion! :D

I also agree with what you said about eBay- I have been desperately trying to get a size small in the Bond Billy Reid Peacoat, and I saw one a few days ago on sale on eBay, but the guy was asking 795$ for it! I wasn't going to pay 100$ over, just due to the principal of the fact! That's why I like dealing with people on here. However, I do wish I would have been able to pick it up! So, if anyone has a small.... !!! :007)

    Cheers! {:)
