It’s a fascinating piece of little-known Bond-spoof history—at least I didn’t know about it. Even more so for the fact that it has Bernard Lee, Lois Maxwell, Daniela Bianchi and Adolfo Celi in it. I don’t think it's ever been shown on UK TV.

I wonder if Eon approached Neil when Sean decided to leave?

There are a few old threads about this very film somwhere on AJB....I have it on VHS....it wasn't officially released on DVD...it's not brilliant...but it's worth a watch certainly...
