New collaborative fan fiction

Hi guys,
I am interested in doing another collaborative fan fiction but would like to have more of a structure in place before we start fleshing out the story.
Some things to be agreed upon initially:
The Villain and His/Her Plan (and motivation)
One or more themes - justice, revenge, trust, loyalty, truth, security etc are common ones in bond
A Subject - identity theft was used previously. Other possibilities include the global economic crisis, nuclear war in the middle east, food security, rising sea levels, etc.
A step outline of the plot
So rather than just picking up and writing anything from where the last person stopped, the fan fiction would be collaborative from the bones up.
Let me know if you are interested. The first step would be brain storming leading to an agreement on the above.

I'd be happy to contribute.

We have 5 writers now so I think we can proceed.
So it's time for brainstorm number 1. Please put forward your ideas for the story.
Use the previous Bond films and books as a guideline:
Dr. No (1962) - Dr No uses nuclear power to topple US and soviet rockets
From Russia with Love (1963) - Spectre uses Bond to get hold of a cryptographic machine called a Lektor owned by the soviets as well as kill Bond as revenge for killing Dr No
Goldfinger (1964) - Goldfinger tries to destroy Fort Knox using a nuclear bomb to increase the value of his own gold reserves
Thunderball (1965) - Largo tries to extort money from the major govts after capturing 2 nuclear missiles
You Only Live Twice (1967) - Blofeld hijacks US and Soviet spacecraft threatening to cause world war
On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) - Blofeld plans to destroy the world with bacteriological warfare
Diamonds Are Forever (1971) - Blofeld constructs a space laser using diamonds so he can take over the world
Live and Let Die (1973) - Kananga tries to manipulate the US heroin market by providing free heroin
The Man with the Golden Gun (1974) - Scaramanga plans to use solar power to gain world domination
The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) - Stromberg tries to initiate nuclear war so that he can start a new civilisation under the sea
Moonraker (1979) - Drax tries to destroy the human race with poison gas so he start a new world from space
For Your Eyes Only (1981) - Kristatos gets hold of an ATAK machine which can be used to initiate nuclear launches and which he plans to sell to the Soviets
Octopussy (1983) - the soviet General Orlov tries to take over western europe by staging a nuclear blast which will cause the west to disarm
A View to a Kill (1985) - Zorin tries to create an earthquake which will destroy silicon valley and give him control of the silicon chip market
The Living Daylights (1987) - double agents, drugs, arm dealers, its a bit of a hotch potch
Licence to Kill (1989) - Sanchez tries to import his cocaine into america dissolved in gasolene
GoldenEye (1995) - Trevelyan an ex MI6 agent plans to steal billions from london banks using computer hacking and then cause an EMP via the Goldeneye satellite which will cover the theft - a mixture of theft and revenge on the british for his parents death and his own abandonment by bond during a mission
Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) - Carver tries to get control of the chinese media using a nuclear missile as well as provoking war between china and the UK
The World Is Not Enough (1999) - Elektra King tries to gain control of the world oil supply by setting off a nuclear bomb in istanbul
Die Another Day (2002) - Graves tries to take over the world with a giant space mirror/laser called Icarus which can clear a path through the demilitarised zone and shoot down nuclear missiles
Casino Royale (2006) - Le Chiffre tries to recover money he lost in a failed attempt to destroy a new prototype aircraft, at a high stakes poker game in Montenegro worth 150 million dollars.
Quantum of Solace (2008) - Green tries to gain control of Colombia's water supply as an agent of Quantum
Skyfall (2012) - Silva tries to get revenge on MI6 and its head M.
The main things we need to establish are:
- who the villain is
- what they hope to achieve
- why do they want to achieve it
- how do they plan to achieve it (eg what weapon or metjod will they use, eg the Golden Eye satellite, Icarus, a nuclear bomb, an earthquake etc)
- a possible theme element (eg gold in GF, oil in TWINW, water in QoS)
So please make as many suggestions as possible. In a brainstorm there are no bad ideas - everything is grist for the mill.
Once we have some ideas we will start to pick and choose the ones we like most.
So, my idea, I thought it would be great to involve a world issue, and the main villain using that issue for his advantage. The villain is a rich, famous guy with his name seen in newspapers. His backstory is described. Now he sets up this huge organization to help refugees, from getting them out of their home country to setting them up with their family in a safe community with schools and jobs. But in reality, the refugees are slaves, poorly treated, made to work in a huge diamond mine /gold mine /oil rig etc so the villain can keep profits and supply for himself.
This plot could work in numerous places, but for me, I would like it in New Zealand and Australia, where I live and where my knowledge in countries lie. I'm open to other ideas and wants, these aren't set in stone of course, this is just a brainstorm.
By the way, don't forget to Private Message us,keeping us up to date.

Who - The Villain is a Richard Branson type. Famous, accepted, diverse business activities.
What - The hope is to achieve - World domination or just Continent domination. Wants drilling / extraction rights of a currently populated area.
Why - Control the natural resourse of the land? He is insane. Believes he can live forever?
How - do they plan to achieve it (eg what weapon or method) control of climate - Earthquake, Ice caps, Fire, rain etc. Merge all possible / actual resource in area / theme elements (eg Diamonds, gold, oil, water, whatever is the latest, most precious natural resource)
Where - The current fires in Australia, could be a result of the government not paying a ransom.
When - Present day?
How about the villain being an assassin like Scaramamga, we,could write,a great red dot sight scene.

Bond on the run because assassins are trying to kill him
Bond is blamed for something he didn't commit and is forced away from MI6
Bond investigates the apparent suicide of 008 ...
A rich criminal is being watched by MI6, the man takes out 6 billion out of his account, for what?

1. An astronomer discovers that an asteroid is on a collision course with Earth. However the asteroid has been set onto this course by an explosion caused by a satellite owned by a billionaire who wants to destroy the Earth. He is dying of cancer and want to take everyone else with him, ancient Egyptian style. While supposedly assisting world governments in efforts to destroy the asteroid using a nuclear missile, his people try to sabotage the operation. Bond first encounters the astronomer who discovers the asteroid and is being pursued by the villain's men and is killed but Bond manages to get the vital info. to the authorities. He then infiltrates the anti-asteroid-project and discovers who the villain is and puts an end to him just in time. The missiles launches and the asteroid is successfully destroyed.
2. One solution to global warming that has been seriously proposed is to create a shield in space consisting of millions of tiny mirrors which would reduce the amount of light hitting the earth. This could become the basis of a plot where the villain seeks to plunge the world into darkness or hold it to ransom using this technology.
1.Bond is on an assignment where he has to infiltrate a criminals hideout. In a struggle, he is beaten and shot. Still under the enemys command when Bond wakes up he has amnesia. The criminals realize this and trick Bond into thinking that he is one of them, and that MI6 are the people who attacked him. The criminals use Bond into wrecking havoc at MI6 HQ....

Bond is on holiday in New Zealand when he bumps into the villian, they meet and Bond immediately judges the man as a nasty piece of work. He overhears something and asks Moneypenny to look into the man. Later on his assignment is given. I like the theme of revenge, mistrust and patriotism.

1. Bond always causes the villain to lose money or something else valuable early in the piece - eg the satellite in TND, the wager in the golf game in GF etc.
2. Most supporting characters get killed - whether it be Jill Masterson in GF, Della in LTK, Paris Carver in TND, May Day in VTAK, Zuchovsky in TWINE, or Saunders in LD.
3. The villains are usually planning to take over or destroy the world in some fashion.
I am not a big fan of the Daniel Craig films, not because of Daniel Craig who is a fine actor but because a lot of the joy has been taken out of Bond. I like Bond because of the extravagant plots, insane and colourful villains and weird and unlikely gadgets. For me its a mixture of action spy film, science fiction and romance.
