FRWL - Col Rosa Klebb and Cpl Tatiana Romanova **spoiler**

If she really wanted to, couldn't have Rosa Klebb ordered Tatiana Romanova to sleep with her? I pretty sure even Klebb in 1954 Soviet Union would probably have been sent to a labor camp had she been caught in bed with a woman, but if she really wanted to, could she have done it?

    Unlikely, I'd imagine, though it would have been Tatiana's word against that of the reputable Colonel Rosa Klebb, high up SMERSH official. So, who do you thgink they'd believe? No brainer, really. -{

    A crafty and ruthless operative like Klebb could have easily manipulated an unwitting victim like Tatiana into doing whatever she wanted.

    As good as the movie was, it understated how evil Kronsteen, Grant, and Klebb were.

    Agreed, but isn't that realkly the case with all of the films that are 'based' on the novels?

    Blofeld would not have been amused if Klebb had jeopardized the scheme with personal predilections? He was pretty severe with Kronsteen, remember for things out of Kronsteen's control.

    Could she have seduced Tatiana? Questionable. Would she have? Most certainly not. Just my 2P.

    I'd imagine you're correct here.

    After all, in the film versioon of FRWL Colonel Klebb is a defector to SPECTRE from SMERSH, whereas in the 1957 novel version SPECTRE didn't even exist as yet. So, on a new job, Colonel Klebb would probablty have to rein in the lesbianism a bit! Plus, the film was in 1963 when such things were not well received by critics and the censors alike!
